SuggestBot picks the articles you might be interested in based on the articles you've edited and using a number of different techniques: following links from them to other articles, matching articles based on their content, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedia users. It tries to recommend only articles that others have marked as needing work, such as stub articles that need to be made longer, clean-up articles that need writing help, and so on. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you choose to participate we encourage you to leave feedback on these suggestions, which you can most easily do here by editing your user talk page. We'll stop by later to read them.

Your invitation to participate in a Wikimedia-approved survey in online behavior.

[edit]

Hello, my name is Michael Tsikerdekis[1][2], currently involved as a student in full time academic research at Masaryk University. I am writing to you to kindly invite you to participate in an online survey about interface and online collaboration on Wikipedia. The survey has been reviewed and approved by the Wikimedia Foundation Research Committee.

I am contacting you because you were randomly selected from a list of active editors. The survey should take about 7 to 10 minutes to complete, and it is very straightforward.

Wikipedia is an open project by nature. Let’s create new knowledge for everyone! :-)

To take part in the survey please follow the link: tsikerdekis.wuwcorp.com/pr/survey/?user=47421975 (HTTPS).

Best Regards, --Michael Tsikerdekis (talk) 11:54, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

PS: The results from the research will become available online for everyone and will be published in an open access journal. As a thank you for your efforts and participation in Wikipedia Research you will receive a Research Participation Barnstar after the end of the study.

Research Participation Barnstar

RE: Photos from Battle of Zahle

[edit]
File:Israeli Jet Over Mount Sannine.jpg

Hi J10452M, thanks for writing.

1. Regarding the Gazelle photo: You can find the original here. As I mentioned in my edit summary, this is a Serbian Gazelle

2. Syrian MiGs: The aircraft on the left is clearly an F-4 Phantom, on the right, an F-16 Fighting Falcon. These are not MiGs, they are American-built aircraft. The photo original is here, see top photo, showing these to be Japanese Air Force aircraft.

I located both orignals using google images. You'll notice that in the search bar there is an icon of a camera. That's a tool allowing you to search for an images using another image instead of text. Feel free to repeat the search yourself. I'm sorry, but your source seems to be a very poor one. Poliocretes (talk) 19:51, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

J10452M, I won't venture to comment on the overall quality of your source, but the aircraft images are simply fake (in the sense that they are mislabeled). The fact is that I arrived at the page because I came across the F-15 image you posted to commons, which just stood out as the original resides in the same category. There is really no doubt about this, the images were simply lifted from other sources. Poliocretes (talk) 08:28, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe you do not like the info that you have deleted. But do not forget it is sourced. Instead of deleting it, you may put another sourced info falsifying the former info. Egeymi (talk) 12:27, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My information is always sourced.I will provide several sources in the next few days. J10452M (talk) 13:46, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
