Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with... How can I upload a website logo & its website screenshot on Wikipedia? Please Help me. GreatVlaue (talk) 13:30, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi GreatValue - you can use WikimediaCommons to upload images, provided they are free for use. It may not be possible to upload a logo belonging to a corporation because the copyright in that image belongs to the corporation and not to yourself. Please also consider that the same may be true from screenshots from software: The copyright in that image may belong to the creator of the software and not the creator of the screenshot. If you would like to give more information, for example which article are you editing, we can offer more specific advice. --Salimfadhley (talk) 14:11, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with... Thanks for responding to my query.

I would like to update a company logo & its official website screenshot on the R.H.S section where it shows all the information of a company like Owner details, Company details etc. GreatVlaue (talk) 14:18, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, the answer is the same as before. You can use Wikimedia Commons to upload the image. But please be mindful that you do not own the copyright to either the company logo or the image of the company's website. You will almost certainly not be allowed to upload either of these images. Why do you think you you will be permitted to contribute this artwork? --Salimfadhley (talk) 14:27, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Image without license

[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:MouthShut Homepage.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:MouthShut Homepage.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 14:45, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

List of Indian entrepreneurs

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to List of Indian entrepreneurs appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 13:35, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Overlinking

[edit]

Hello there, thanks for your contributions but please do not add internal links to singers' name as you have done in several Indian film articles, read this this before linking internal links to pages. Thank you. Tolly4bolly 05:06, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Do you have any association with this company or its CEO Faisal Farooqui? It seems that all of your edits since June have been related to the company. MrsSnoozyTurtle 23:10, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
