Gracias por hacerme saber acerca de la Basket Zaragoza 2002 el artículo. No entiendo por qué alguien no querría que los vínculos correctos en el artículo. Oh, bueno, no voy a perder mi tiempo Rikster2 (talk) 20:22, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Gonzaka, this may be fruitless at the end of the day, but I've opened an ANI discussion about Basket Zaragoza 2002 and how some anonymous editor thinks he owns the thing. It's at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Basket Zaragoza 2002 → severe ownership issue. Thought you'd like to know. Jrcla2 (talk) 00:50, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed File:AD Universidad de Oviedo.png from AD Universidad de Oviedo (basketball) because it does not have a valid non-free media use rationale for the article. AD Universidad de Oviedo

[edit]

Hola Gonzaka.

File permission problem with File:TribunaLaCruz.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:TribunaLaCruz.jpg, which you've sourced to http://www.ucceares.com. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:14, 19 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Urraca CF has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable football club. No claim of notability. No independent refs.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Category:Euroleague current roster navigational boxes

[edit]

I am glad that somebody saw what I have created (when you edited for Saski Baskonia current roster). But please, don't put new pages until I complete full 'project' with all Euroleague teams. For 2 days all the Euroleague teams will have almost same quality roster templates like NBA teams have, so pleas, be patient. It will be much easier to update rosters after this project. Greets! FIBA Europe rankings

[edit]

You added the rankings from 2000-2007 onto the new article FIBA Europe rankings. But those rankings from 2000 to 2007 were done by Euroleague and not FIBA Europe. So they should have stayed on the original article.173.216.233.111 (talk) 02:04, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the team rankings from inthegame website are not actual rankings. They are not the actual team rankings from Euroleague. They are just the personal rankings of that website. I'm not sure that they should be placed their in that article because it makes it seem like those are Euroleague's rankings. At the very least it should state that those are a different ranking in UEFA style, and not the actual team rankings from Euroleague.173.216.233.111 (talk) 02:08, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

An article you worked on 1988–89 FIBA European Champions Cup, appears to be directly copied from http://www.linguasport.com/baloncesto/internacional/clubes/c1/C1_85.htm. Euroleague 2013/14

[edit]

Hi, just to explain my edits, Euroleague and ABA league agreed after negotiations that the 1st and 2nd ABA team that will play in the Euroleague next season will be finalists of the final four. It's because BC Igokea doesn't meet requirements for the Euroleague games (arena and adequate airport) and they didn't want to play anywhere else, so the final four finalists - Crvena zvezda and Partizan will play in the Euroleague next season. It's in all media here, everybody already congratulated them, even a director of ABA league, so it is official. The final will only determine which team will be ranked 1st and which 2nd.

Russian 1st place will be determined by combining results from the Russian domestic league and the VTB league. Practically the winner of VTB semi-final between CSKA and Khimki will be the number 1 team in Russia.

Kind regards. VoodooDerina — Preceding unsigned comment added by VoodooDerina (talkcontribs) 22:42, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I just added references for these cases.

All the best. VoodooDerina (talk) 11:30, 27 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I saw it at the GBL Wikipedia page, but now I'm searching and can't find any other source to confirm it.

Are you sure that if Lokomotiv Kuban doesn't win VTB league they'll be ahead of Khimki, although both teams would have the same number of points (15)?

Ok, thank you for your answer, and I'm sorry I accidentally changed your edit about that, I only noticed later. Best regards!

Confederations Cup table

[edit]

Thanks for colorizing that Participating teams and results table at the Confederations Cup article! Now it looks more like a proper soccer results table, in my humble opinion (I do wonder, on a tiny side note, if there's anything better than "RU" that we can call the second-placers; "RU" just looks weird). Notable players

[edit]

Hi, since you've been editing wikipedia longer than I do, maybe you know whether there is an agreed criterion for mentioning players as notable in basketball articles? I don't agree with some of the names last editor added in Lietuvos rytas page, but I'm not sure, maybe he is doing everything right, so I'm not sure if I should remove it and I don't want to turn it into edit war. Do you know about it? Thanks. 78.57.139.198 (talk) 19:46, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

European national league rankings article

[edit]

Why did you remove the current league rankings on that article?Bluesangrel (talk) 23:41, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No, those are the actual real league rankings, which are now updated and published every single year. The B license allocation criteria is not a league ranking and has absolutely nothing to do with the league rankings. They are two completely separate and totally different things. The B license criteria is the order of places that Euroleague gives to teams in the order after the A license teams get places. It has nothing at all to do with the league rankings, which is totally separate and different. The league rankings are complete separate and are a totally different list and are published every year. Those were listed in the separate category and you removed them. You are confusing the two things. They are two completely different things. If we want to get totally into B allocation license rankings, club rankings and all of this and not into league rankings at all, then we are completely putting stuff that is not related in any way to the title or topic of the article. So we either need to change the title and topic of the article, or we need to keep that stuff back in the article. Now, if you want to simply have this article just for the B allocation licenses, and the club rankings, and all of this kind of stuff, then that is fine. I can understand this, as this kind of stuff is taking up huge amounts of info and is constantly being updated and changed and is very pertinent to the nature of the structure of the current Euuroleague formats. But then we can't be claiming that this article is for the league rankings and calling it that, and we certainly 100% cannot be claiming the B license allocation criteria is the league rankings. Because it isn't. It's absolutely not the rankings of the leagues, which is something completely different and is done separately every year. Otherwise it's just posting totally false info in the article. So, we can discuss how we want to do this, but no, we cannot claim that the B license allocation is the league rankings, because it isn't.Bluesangrel (talk) 00:07, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:New CB Valladolid Logo.JPG

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:New CB Valladolid Logo.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
