Speedy deletion of Clarity (software)

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Clarity (software), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Themfromspace (talk) 15:53, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on MMR bikes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. — kikichugirl speak up! 21:05, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit to Clarity

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your recent edit to Clarity added the name of an apparently non-notable entity. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article to establish notability. If you wish to create such an article, please confirm that your subject is notable according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you! Your mail - Clarity / CA PPM

[edit]

Hello Danielperezglez, thank you for your mail. But in general it's better to discuss Wikipedia-related questions on-Wiki to allow other editors to participate - article-related questions are best discussed at the article's talkpage. CA PPM is currently not mentioned in its company main article, nor does it have its own article (both under the previous and current name). If you are interested in writing about this topic, the best way to move forward would be to find a few articles with independent in-depth coverage about the product. A last point, the mere number of usages is generally not a measure of notability in itself for Wikipedia's purposes. But of course more popular products are more likely to be written about, and such independent articles can establish Wiki-notability. The relevant guideline for this aspect is WP:GNG. Hope this helps. GermanJoe (talk) 09:50, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
