Welcome!

Hello, Cha'yu, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like IMCC, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Proposed deletion of IMCC

[edit]

The article IMCC has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The article makes no assertion of notability and does not contain any references to 3rd party sources or any extensive 1st party sources (aside from a linked .pdf file). Written like an advert for the organization and does not provide ways to varify its claimed successes.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I have indicated notability references to 3rd party sources - See Talk:IMCC - Cha'yu (talk) 22:36, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. You merely removed the prod tag, and did not add additional sources to indicate notability. I pla o formally nominating IMCC for deletion. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. - Masonpatriot (talk) 22:45, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Isn't this sufficient ?
Assertion of notability references to 3rd party sources for IMCC
Cha'yu (talk) 22:52, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated IMCC, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/IMCC. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Masonpatriot (talk) 00:22, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Portal Catholicism DYK

[edit]

Thanks for adding the fact about the Douay-Rheims Bible to Portal:Catholicism/DYK/3. However, hooks in the DYK section must have appeared on the same section on the Main Page, and the fact must be mentioned in the article linked to. Neither of those are true for the hook you've added, so I've had to remove it. Gentgeen (talk) 20:11, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
