Accepted Afc should have been rejected for missing copy attribution

Regarding your acceptance of Afc Foreign policy of the administration of Shinzō Abe, please note that this was an unattributed translation from a sister project article. Wikipedia's licensing requirements require that all copying or translating between articles or projects contain proper attribution in the edit summary. Please do not approve Afc Drafts that involve copying within Wikipedia, or translating, if they do not supply the required attribution statement. This should be present in the edit summary of every edit involving copying or translating. If they forgot, or didn't know, it can be repaired after the fact, but should remain a Draft until it is properly attributed. Thank you. Mathglot (talk) 06:48, 21 June 2019 (UTC)

There's another problem with this article beyond the translation issue, and potentially more serious. See this discusson. Feel free to lend a hand, if you've a mind to. Mathglot (talk) 10:24, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
What Mathglot said.
I've moved "Foreign policy of the administration of Shinzō Abe" to Draft:Foreign policy of the administration of Shinzō Abe. Normally when one moves a page one leaves a redirect, but doing this is inappropriate for moves from article space to draft space; and this is why I'm notifying you on your talk page.

Balázs Orbán (politician)

Dear Bkissin,

First of all, thank you for your quick response to our article. Unfortunately you have declined it, although we have used a lot of references and they are cited properly. There is a Hungarian Wiki article of this person (Balázs Orbán) as well, with (almost) the same citations and sources, and it had been approved. Please help us what to do to get it accepted as we are not sure about the required process.

Thanks for your time and help.

Sad clown Paradox

Hi Bkissin, The sad clown paradox is my student's article. I was marking it and I thought he hasn't submitted it for review. He submitted his sandbox URL instead of his draft. I wanted to make sure it was submitted. I tried to contact him during the last week but I couldn't find him anywhere. Many thanks for your prompt response.Maryam.alavinia (talk) 13:57, 28 June 2019 (UTC)

No worries Mayram.alavinia! I thought I had seen the article before, but I think I had seen the sandbox draft. I have resubmitted the draft for review. Bkissin (talk) 13:59, 28 June 2019 (UTC)

Mahindra e2o Plus

Hello. Mahindra e2o Plus is not a trim level of the e2o. The e2o is a 3-door car produced 2013-2016. The e2o Plus is a larger, 5-door car produced 2016-2019. They are different cars. I think the e2o Plus deserves its own article. Please rethink your decision to reject the draft. Periwinklewrinkles (talk) 18:21, 26 June 2019 (UTC)

St. Vitus Church (Český Krumlov)

Hi, you declined my article two day ago, because of lacking resources, however, that article was made as a translation of Czech text, which is already published on czech Wikipedia, as a seminar paper for Czech Technical University in Prague, the faculty of Architecture. Therefore I listed only one resource which is said text. Anything else I added was consulted, after my visit of the church, with the head of the Historical Department of our faculty. Could you please reconsider? Matustikova (talk) 11:16, 4 July 2019 (UTC)04.07.2019 Matustikova

Proposed "Free Palestine" page

Dear Bkissin,

Thank you for your feedback on my attempt to create a "Free Palestine" article. I understand the point about Wikipedia being an encyclopedia and not a dictionary, but equally Wikipedia has an obligation to be as accurate, impartial and objective as possible in the content it allows to be published. At the moment, Wikipedia is failing to achieve this objective because there is currently a "Free Palestine Movement" page which instead of referring to the historical (dating back over a century, going back to the Ottomans, British and then Israelis) and ongoing Palestinian struggle for independence (the most widespread and commonly understood definition of the term), the page refers to a Syrian-Palestinian militant group which was created in 2003 (just 16 years ago.) This smacks of deliberate pro-Israeli propaganda and bias, and Wikipedia appears to be straying from impartial/objective arbiter of content to propagator of bias, propaganda and misinformation, deliberately intended to serve hidden agendas and spread misinformation.

I will look at revising my entry in order to put it in a form that is more encyclopedic than better suited to a dictionary. In return, I would like Wikipedia to consider my complaint above and indicate how it proposes to address it.

Best regards

Declined Submission

Hello. I submitted a possible article but you declined it saying sources were not adequate or subject is not notable enough.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Donald_Ashley

This is that article. May I find out what the actual reason is so I can learn because I am new to writing articles? I want to learn what was inadequate so that I can amend accordingly.

I am trying to write articles about specific types of musicians in specific locations that are not already existing in articles. I noticed another example of an arguably lesser known musician with a Wikipedia article that has a similar short length and only one source, similar to mine, but in fact that article is not even completely about the subject like mine. I wondered how this one was accepted and mine wasn't?

Sorry for the trouble I just want to learn why. I can give examples if necessary.

Thank you.

Camarmstrong (talk) 19:58, 10 July 2019 (UTC) Camarmstrong

Camarmstrong, welcome to Wikipedia. The actual reasons were provided. The article in its current form did not meet Wikipedia's criteria for what musical artists are notable enough for an article. Additionally, while the South China Morning Post is a reliable source, one source does not prove notability. Third (and finally), the tone of the article came off promotional, which is not something that Wikipedia is meant for. I don't care that other articles exist with barely any content. If anything, you can give me those articles and I will personally see to it that they are deleted if they don't meet Wikipedia standards. Bkissin (talk) 20:04, 10 July 2019 (UTC)

Hello and thank you. Sorry I just wanted to understand and it wasn't clear to me. That makes sense now. I am just trying to understand better what qualifies and what doesn't. I had thought because it was SCMP that this would be reliable enough and maybe had not considered the notability part. I thought it was implied enough, but I see that it was not. I understood it was related to either inadequate sources or lack of notability, but it was not clear to me which, or in what way exactly.

Would you suggest I try to find more sources or give up on the article and move on to something else?

About other articles, I did not want to stir up any issues I was just trying to understand because I had seen other articles with only one source and having a passing mention, also a short article, so I figured that was fine since it was a similar situation. I was just trying to understand what the difference is. Please understand I am just trying to make sure I fully understand how things work, since sometimes the rules here can be hard to understand since they seem open to opinion to some degree as to what qualifies. Or maybe I am just too slow to get to grips with it, ha!

Camarmstrong (talk) 09:10, 11 July 2019 (UTC) Camarmstrong

No worries Camarmstrong! As you can see by the mountain of talk-page sections, I get a lot of questions about why a page gets declined, and when the backlog at articles for creation is over 4000 articles long, it can be a little frustrating sometimes. I'm sorry if I came off a little grumpy in my response. As for whether to move forward or not, that's up to you. Even just glancing at the SCMP article there might be a case for notability. Was he part of any rock & roll bands that have articles? If you (or anyone else) did a google search for his name, would they find significant coverage (not just his obituary) of him? If not, maybe we can add his information to an existing article for something he is related to.
As for sources, we usually err more on the side of the more the better (with special preference given to reliable sources). Some editors say at least three reliable sources, but then you have stub articles that never get expanded past the three sources. With articles that rely on one source, we usually tag those for improvement. We don't want articles to basically be book reports about one particular source. Sometimes with obscenely old topics (like ancient times) that's all we can get. There is also a question about the quality of some of these single sources. If the article just cites a person's personal website or their iTunes/Spotify page, we wouldn't consider those reliable sources.
I hope this clears things up slightly. Bkissin (talk) 14:12, 11 July 2019 (UTC)

Ljupčo Santov Gymnasium Kočani

Hi, I think I posted this somewhere, but I don't know where.

Could you please let me know what information needs citation? I work at the school, and the information I have is that which was taken off its Macedonian wikipedia page. Data on students and what not is done by the school itself, so I went off of that, provided it was accurate. I can get up-to-date numbers (well, from last year), but it will be from the school, since we report these numbers to the Ministry of Education.

The number of classrooms and capacity is pretty straightforward. Like I said I work at the school, and I've cleaned almost ALL 22 classrooms (I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer, and I've got lots of free time in the summer/winter, hence this translation).

Regarding the library size, I took that from the Macedonian version. Y'all should read THAT for a laugh...It's very VERY subjective. I did not translate about 2/3 of the stuff from that page. It should probably be all entirely rewritten, but finding people proficient in Macedonian AND willing to do the work correctly is, for lack of a more diplomatic word, difficult.

The history was also taken from the Macedonian wikipage, and it's also on the school's webpage.

Honestly, there isn't much available about this school online, save for the information I find on wikipedia and the school's webpage. I've been working here since December 2017, and I'm quite familiar with the resources available here about the school.

Any suggestions? I'd like to have this page up and running, but I want it to meet the appropriate standards. I'm not trying to make the school look good, just make it visible to anyone coming out here to work later down the line, or, who knows...some lucky chump who lands on it during a drunken "Random Article" binge.

Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iattp (talkcontribs) 17:54, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

Hello Iattp! That's really cool that you've been working in Macedonia as part of the Peace Corps! I'm kinda jealous. I have a couple of responses to your comments above.

--> Don't be jealous! Apply!

  1. Take a look at WP:NSCHOOL to see what makes a high-school notable. I don't really see anything like that in the article.

--> We have a lot of kids go on Erasmus+ programs and one of our students one the national entrepreneurial competition. Also, we've had PC volunteers here since 2002. I'm sure I could find other things. I didn't want to brag about stuff, really. But if that's what it will take, I'll poke around and find some things.

  1. If you work at the school, I would take a look at our conflict of interest policies. I know your aim isn't to promote the school, but I don't know that other editors are going to see your relationship with the school as completely separate.

--> Yeah, I get that, which is why I tried to keep it as objective and "boring" as possible. Beyond my drunken friends who stumble on this page, it's also for future volunteers (and our family members) so they can get some info on where we are. I tried to aim to be as far as subjective as possible.

  1. Does the local newspaper in Kočani cover graduations from the gymnasium? Have any alumni gone off to be football players or notable in some way? Has PM Zaev come to visit?

--> Football players? I doubt it. Maybe we've got SOME notable alumni, I'll ask the director. Nikola Gruevski came to visit our school back in 2014 after a major renovation. I can find that picture and probably the article. Then again, I'm hesitant to do ANYTHING associated with politicians visiting the school, as it can put a confusing spin on things. Education here is VERY political. I'll look into notable alumni. Remember, though, what may be notable in Macedonia probably isn't notable elsewhere (the same could be said about the "Notable Alumni" section on my HS's wiki page...).

  1. If it's just the school writing about itself, of course it's going to promote itself in the sources. That's why Wikipedia usually looks for independent sources.

--> I didn't really want to promote the school, so to say, just to put it out there for reasons given above. Like I stated earlier, the Macedonian version is REALLY REALLY subjective, and I tried to stay far away from that.

I hope that clears some stuff up. If you can find anything else let me know. Otherwise, it may be better to expand other articles from the Kočani area, or look at the help they need over at WP:MACEDONIA. Bkissin (talk) 18:10, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

--> I created the Beli article and edited some stuff on Lozovo. I was thinking of translating the other schools out here as well. They're also only available on the Macedonian side. I would just like to get this done, as it's something that is an important contribution and resource, not only for people interested in Kočani (it's kinda cool here), but also future volunteers and their families.

Thanks again, and especially thank you for your detail.

No problem! If you're concerned about how your tone will come across, take a look at our information on neutral point-of-view. As for notable alumni, I would say if they've got a Wikipedia page (either English or Macedonian) then they're notable. Bkissin (talk) 18:58, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

--> I found a few articles about the school from the local newspaper, and the director says the current mayor of the city/county was a former student.

http://www.komarec.com.mk/?s=%D1%99%D1%83%D0%BF%D1%87%D0%BE

Is there more that is needed?

Hi there, I would like to know if the information I've provided is sufficient. I'd really like to have this done so I can move on to another article.

Thank you for all your help.

Hello again,

I'm really wondering if the information I provided would be sufficient. It's been about 2 weeks, and I'd really like to have this done. Thanks.

Submission declined on 8 July 2019 Draft:Chuck Eaton

First, thank you for taking the time to review the article I wrote Draft:Chuck Eaton.

He seems to fit the WP:POLITICIAN guidelines. He is a state-wide elected official, with almost 2 million people casting votes for him in the 2018 Georgia General Election.

I would ask that you reconsider you declination of the article. Thanks for your consideration.

Stiflegold67 (talk) 18:48, 17 July 2019 (UTC)

Thanks for your prompt response. State Legislators run in much smaller districts, whereas Eaton runs statewide with his last election having a total of almost 4 million cast in the General. A typical State Representative race might have 25 thousand votes cast in it. I think you'll find the media cites covering him are local, state and national. Given his votes on the only current nuclear project in the Country, he's attracted quite a bit of media coverage. His Georgia colleague, Tim Echols, has an article as well as Commissioner Brandon Presley, in MS.

Can you please help me understand why my article on the London Chamber of Commerce was rejected when the one on the Guelph Chamber of Commerce seems to be ok: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guelph_Chamber_of_Commerce

Both use primary sources.

Is it because the Guelph one is longer?

What can I do to make the London one acceptable?

Draft article on Ruben Santantonín

I understand that you rejected this article because the artist doesn't yet meet the notability guidelines. That is the issue that I (and my university students) are trying to address. For too long, important Latin American artists have been overlooked by the English-speaking world. We are trying to rectify that by giving them a presence on Wikipedia. So I ask you to reconsider your decision.

Santantonin has been written about by Spanish-speaking (and some English-speaking) scholars, so there are good sources that my students can use to fill out this article. I'm asking for the short article to be approved so that I can assign Santantonin to one of my students in the upcoming semester. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Redbaron10 (talkcontribs) 13:34, 23 July 2019 (UTC)

So what do I do to get it approved? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yellow alligator (talkcontribs) 16:54, 8 January 2019 (UTC)

Dear Bkissin, when I submitted an article recently on the contradiction of Aristotle's Poetics, I waited until it was nearly complete and had many sources and citations before submitting. With the David Gontar article, I submitted early after reading in Wikipedia that sources can be improved after submitting.

Does your response really mean that (1) David does not meet any notability requirement as an academic (I know he only needs one) Or you meant only (2) There needs to be a published source documenting his notability? What about his writings as they appear in the New English Review website? What about the fact that his books are placed at the Folger Shakespeare Library and at Yale Library? I'm trying to get a little clearer on your decision.

David's influence within academe meets a notability requirement as an academic, it seems to me. (Some of his articles have been peer-reviewed, and praised for their writing skill in peer review). His two books have been very closely studied by mainstream, not fringe academic Shakespeare scholars including Harold Bloom and Joost Daalder and those who peer-reviewed David's academic articles. Harold Bloom, among the world's most distinguished literary critics, praises David's work highly. David's double influence in both mainstream literary criticism and the Shakespeare Authorship Question is another point of notability.

I'd like to distinguish between Shakespeare criticism and the Authorship Question. Frankly, I don't believe that another scholar working on the Authorship Question, in history, has ever received the kind of recognition as a literary theorist that David has. For example, Shakespeare doubter Roger Stritmatter has not had that kind of influence, nor has Charles Beauclerk, Alexander Waugh, Hank Whittemore, or Richard Whalen. I know what I'm talking about, because I work in literary criticism. The reference to his theory of Hamlet in a gradesaver site indicates that David's version of the Hamlet bastard theory is the best known version of this theory. Did you mean to suggest that the article about David is effusive or contains peacock words?Cdg1072 (talk) 18:55, 19 July 2019 (UTC)

Articles by some of the less reputed sources were avoided because they seem to incorrectly refer to work. In that case personal information there could be wrong too. If you think it is fit for it please move it to review. Speculative Boting (talk) 15:35, 19 August 2019 (UTC)

Hi, could you please review Draft:National University Heart Centre, Singapore again as I have resubmitted it for review at AfC? Thank you.--Officer781 (talk) 04:17, 22 August 2019 (UTC)

Please Review

Hi Bkissin,

You moved the draft Divya Dwivedi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Divya_Dwivedi from sandbox to AFC earlier. It meets notability criteria sufficiently as there is substantial coverage in reliable sources such Libération, Mediapart, The Hindu, UNESCO, and The Indian Express. Some of the subjects who have written on Divya Dwivedi are eminent practitioners of their field which is shown by their wiki pages such Jean-Luc Nancy, Robert Bernasconi, Barbara Cassin and Tridip Suhrud. Of course I can be very wrong! Would you please consider reviewing this page? Cheers!Speculative Boting (talk) 14:14, 26 August 2019 (UTC)

Rejection of Draft for Creation

Earlier today you rejected my draft (Draft:Self Regional Hospital) for it sounding like an advertisement. Could you elaborate on what parts exactly sound nonneutral? Kenneth Sweezy Talk to me..... Please? 22:57, 26 August 2019 (UTC)

Hey KennethSweezy. A couple sentences caused concern. With over 200 practicing physicians spread across 37 areas of care sounds like it was pulled directly from their website (though I'm sure it wasn't). Self Regional Healthcare is a 12-time winner of the Gallup Great Workplace Award sounds like a company or PR firm trying to publicize itself (which again after reading your user page, I know is not your intent, you merely want to add Gallup Great Workplace Award winners. making it the first of its kind in South Carolina sound a little too POV for me, but it can definitely be worked on. I know you worked hard on that first draft, and I really appreciate that you added not-so-savory information as well (like the data breach). I think it needs more meat to the article anyway. That being said, it's not a bad article, just give it a little more work and submit it again. Bkissin (talk) 23:04, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
Thank you for clarifying. I will fix these issues to the best of my ability. Kenneth Sweezy Talk to me..... Please? 23:10, 26 August 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for your feedback on my (first!) full submission, it was helpful. I hope I fixed it--I think it is well-sourced/notable (The Washington Post, Yahoo Sports, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, USAToday, Sports Illustrated & ESPN) and I edited out "peacock" words. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Rob_Friedman

Deb Lavender article rejection

Hi Bkissin, Thank you! I realized I'd made the wrong maneuver but didn't know how to undo it. Wanted that article out of my sandbox. Am waiting for the IRL Deb Lavender to approve the major edit. QUESTION: Is it possible to move the article meaning, my major edit of the article to the existing Deb Lavender space???? Have a great day!PatriciaBishop (talk) 13:47, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

Hello PatriciaBishop! To answer one of your questions, you can copy and paste the information from your page into the existing page. However, I want to clarify some aspects of how Wikipedia works. We are less concerned with how the subject of the article feels about their article and more so about facts and neutrality within the article. Imagine if someone polarizing like the President was allowed to approve edits to his page? If you know Ms. Lavender personally, you may also have a conflict of interest and if by chance you are being paid by her for your contributions, you would need to at the very least declare that connection. Otherwise, best of luck. Bkissin (talk) 16:59, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

No worries, I am not paid and am not a personal friend. I've been a stickler for finding source citations to back up every statement. Thank you again for your help.PatriciaBishop (talk) 17:23, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

Riverside isn't the same as Riverdale

Hi Bkissin,

You rejected my Riverside contribution because you said that Riverdale is the same as Riverside. This is not the case, Riverdale is the main area, like "Brooklyn" and Riverside is a neighborhood, like "Dumbo, Brooklyn". The neighborhood is not well known and is often mistaken for Leslieville and since I work in there, I wanted to create a page to help improve awareness. Help getting article approved

Hi, You recently declined a submission. Can you offer any suggestions I could make to the article to try and get it approved? The original article is at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Darryn_Melerine Thank you Thecr8tve (talk) 17:09, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

Michael Stillman

You declined my draft article about Michael Stillman for notability reasons. According to WP:NACADEMIC, elected membership in a highly selective and prestigious scholarly society suffices for notability of an academic. The AMS Fellow program is such a membership, and I've referenced it. I don't think he should be declined for lack of notability. Please let me know if I'm missing some consideration! Russ Woodroofe (talk) 19:42, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

You'd think, that given how prestigious he is, you would have been able to write more than three sentences and two bullet-points about him! Additionally, some of those sentences involve information that would be irrelevant to a notability test. Who cares how many PHd Students he has advised? Who cares what a listicle says about Math Professors at Cornell? I declined him at WP:NPROF because there wasn't enough effort put into the article to prove that he met WP:NACADEMIC. Even if there was more information given to the AMS fellowship or his work on Macauley, the article in its current form is extremely lacking and I wouldn't accept it in this form. Look at articles for other mathematicians or professors (that you aren't related to) and see what they do to create a good article. Bkissin (talk) 19:55, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
I agree that the article is towards the stub end of the scale. Many articles about living mathematicians are. I've looked at quite a few of them and have tried to imitate. This stub is better than some and worse than some (at least according to my own evaluation). Number of PhD students is a measure of academic reach, and is often included. The AMS Fellowship proves academic notability and was included. Is it better practice to mention that on the talk page for the article? I thought that the mention in a fairly major media outlet such as Business Insider helped support notability (although I agree that it would not prove it by itself), but would be happy to remove it if it would make you happier. Isn't it Wikipedia policy to post an article on a notable subject, and try to improve it from there? Russ Woodroofe (talk) 20:21, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
Anyway, added an Education and Career section, which I hope helps address your concerns about content. As I've said, notability is established by selection as an AMS fellow; I try to support it in that section.
Fine. Re-submit it and I'll accept. Bkissin (talk) 14:08, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
Re-submitted. Thanks, and thanks especially for your patience! I was a bit confused about the infobox vs article information balance. Russ Woodroofe (talk) 17:14, 21 September 2019 (UTC)

Would like to resubmit article with changes

Hi, you recently declined a submission. The subject is an international model and has represented major brands, and he is well known in the martial arts field internationally. He also has a significant social media following (over 250k). I feel he is worthy of an article. Was there something specific that caused the article to be declined? I did not put links to the brands and commercials he has done, fearing that would not be acceptable, but I can if it would help? Thank you for your time. AfC: Retro Computer Museum

Hello! I've seen that you've declined my AfC submission for Retro Computer Museum for largely citing primary sources. Whilst I understand and agree with your comments, I am unsure on how to proceed given that the information in the 'History' section can only be found on the museum's website. Should I just remove information that is not backed up elsewhere? Are a small number of citations to the website okay (for information like opening hours, which can only be found reliably on the website) or should I just try to find other sources for what I can and remove the rest?

Hi Bkissin. Thank you for reviewing my Kyoikuto submission. You had declined the submission, with this message "This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources."

Could you be more specific on using reliable source? I had sourced the information from a single website, which is the official website of the Kyoikuto, and translated the information from Japanese to English. Is it not considered a reliable source? Or perhaps it was because I did not cite each individual statement with a citation mark eg. [1][2]?

Let me know a the problem more specifically so I could fix them.

I'm looking forward to your feedback so I can have the submission approved asap. Thanks.

-KHUN- (talk) 20:08, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

I already left a comment on the draft. Just find more sources that talk about the tower. Sourcing from a single website is not going to be good enough. Additionally, we usually ask that sources be independent of the subject, so while the official website is great, it has specific opinions about the topic of the article. That's why we want to find sources that aren't directly attached to the subject of the article, so that it doesn't come off as an advertisement for the tower. Knaggs declined

Hello,

It looks like the article about Andrew Knaggs was declined due to him not being "notable" enough. I had assumed that the high ranking government office and military honors would be enough, is it not? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Brownleatherbag (talkcontribs) 15:40, 16 October 2019 (UTC)

(by talk reader) @Brownleatherbag: Notability is not what you think it is. The subject fails WP:NPOL, WP:GNG, and WP:MILPEOPLE. Further, because this person is a political candidate I can only assume this article is promotional. Would you disclose your conflict of interest? Finally, a lot of this draft was copied directly from defense.gov with no attribution. All of this should be re-written in your own words. Chris Troutman (talk) 16:29, 16 October 2019 (UTC)

Hello Bkissin

I have a simple question for you. In the Teahouse, I asked a question on help with formatting. In a response, you stated that I post article really quick. That is true. I do it because I would feel really bad/dumb, if I spent 10 hours making a perfect article layout with tons of information and then when I go to upload it, someone posts an article with less information than I do. My submission would be denied due to the article already being posted. So wouldn’t it be better to get a small draft, like the Dallas tornado, uploaded so when people search the name, they don’t end up creating an article that is already made? I hope my question make sense. Thanks for your feedback. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elijahandskip (talkcontribs) 18:31, 23 October 2019 (UTC)

Hey Elijahandskip. I definitely get where you're coming from. In a case like that (which happens mostly when working with current events), it can be frustrating when someone "beats you to the publish button", so to speak. Since Wikipedia is meant to be collaborative, what a reviewer would probably say in that circumstance is that you should merge your information into the existing article to make it better. That can be as easy as copy-pasting your information into the article (making sure it's formatted correctly and doesn't take away from the other person's work, of course). It will also show in the edit history of the article that you added a major chunk to that article to make it better. Bkissin (talk) 19:50, 23 October 2019 (UTC)

I have re-edited the proposed article. It was completely written without any other's information but just with the facts pertaining to the play. I am hoping it will be accepted. Please be so kind - if I may ask your help to make it right and better, if you still feel it needs work. I believe the information provided about this play and the person it is about would be most beneficial to students and others in the theater in America and world-wide. Thank you.
