How to get back my user id?

[edit]

Hey @Fayenatic london. Thanks for the welcome message. Actually I am not a new user, and have been actively editing on Wikipedia since 2016 using the user id - @Anbans 585, and my id itself was made in 2014. However, about a month ago, one of friends changed the password on my older id to something random and unlinked my email id from the same (my fault that I was not able to secure my stuff). I checked on how I can retrieve my old id and foun no possible ways of how I can do it without the email id linked, and thus I made a new id. I don't think that it counts as sock puppetry as I am not misusing my old id (I can not misuse it if I can't even login).

My question however is, is there any possible way how I can retrive my old account, or it is correct to assume that it can not be retrieved in my current circumstances? Anbans 586 (talk) 21:20, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I looked at Wikipedia:Compromised_accounts#Regaining_account_access, and there's nothing I can do even as an administrator – but try contacting the Trust and Safety Team.
If there's nothing they can do, you might want to copy your old user and user talk pages over to this account, and redirect the old ones. You should at least declare the alternative account on your user page (see WP:COMPSOCK). You can see how I have declared mine at User:Fayenatic_london#Alternative_accounts. – Fayenatic London 21:55, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Unexplained removal of tables

[edit]

Hi, You have removed the sport wise and gender wise medal tally tables in the name of compacting in the page India at the 2020 Summer Olympics without any explanation. In the page India at the 2022 Asian Games, you are continuously making nonconstructive edits, removing sub categories and introducing a clutter of tables. Please stop making nonconstructive edits and discuss in the talk page in case you want to discuss this further.Magentic Manifestations (talk) 16:52, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
