Transnistria time

[edit]

> Removed the de-facto state Transnistria, because only de-jure (internationally recognized) countries and their dependencies are listed.

In this case you should move Moldova to the section "Number of time zones - 2" beacause Transnistria has different from other Moldova time zone. 77.236.35.44 (talk) 13:41, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

> Added that Kosovo is a partially recognised state.

In this case Abkhazia, North Cyprus, South Ossetia, Western Sahara, etc. also should be mentioned as the same category. 77.236.35.44 (talk) 13:41, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I also removed Kosovo and Taiwan as they according to international law de-jure part of Serbia and China respectively, and who share the time zone or the use of or not of the daylight saving time with each of them.
Among the de-facto states Transnistria is indeed the only one which switched to a different time zone and which also does not use daylight saving time, unlike Moldova from which it unilaterally seceded.
However, the de-facto states of Abkhazia, North Cyprus, South Ossetia, Western Sahara, are also in the same time zones of the countries they are according to international law de-jure part of (or in the case of Western Sahara, which is not de-jure part of Morocco, the status is contested), and also coincidentally either use daylight saving time or not along each de-jure country who claims them.
