Special:WantedTemplates

[edit]

Hi, I have been cleaning up Special:WantedTemplates and noticed that Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:"_+_"oldafdfull"_+_" is pointing to your modern.js pages. clearly these are false positives (basically a bug in how WP parses .js pages). it would be really great if you could add
// <syntaxhighlight lang=javascript> to the top and
// </syntaxhighlight> to the bottom of those pages. by putting these tags in comments, it won't prevent the javascript from executing, but it will remove those pages from Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:"_+_"oldafdfull"_+_". thank you in advance for your help. The talk page editnotice User talk:Mr.Z-man/Editnotice has a Lint error because of using obsolete <center>...</center> tags. To fix it, please replace

| text = {{notice|<center>'''If you are here to ask a question about the "popular pages" system, check the [[User:Mr.Z-man/Popular pages FAQ|FAQ]] before asking.'''</center>}}

with

| text = {{notice|{{center|'''If you are here to ask a question about the "popular pages" system, check the [[User:Mr.Z-man/Popular pages FAQ|FAQ]] before asking.'''}}}}

 Not done - I have reduced the protection on this, but don't see a good reason to force a template in to this, or even to deal with this at all - center tag linter errors in a user editnotice have got to be one of the least important things to work on. — xaosflux Talk 13:59, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the unprotection, I have fixed it myself. Yes, this is of least importance but are in a manageable number. It is fun reading and fixing all the editnotices because of their diversity :) ಮಲ್ನಾಡಾಚ್ ಕೊಂಕ್ಣೊ (talk) 14:15, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
