Hi @Marcus Markup, the edit I made was removing "upcoming series" from a series that is airing; it is no longer upcoming. M48SKY (talk) 09:22, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Edit-warring without understanding policy

[edit]

This is what MOS:FILMLEAD says: "Succeeding sentences in the first paragraph should identify other elements, such as (in no defined order) the director, the star(s), and any writers or producers who are well-known. If the film is based on source material, that material and its creators should be identified. In terms of plot, the general premise should be briefly summarized, along with any actors' roles within it." Which part of this makes you edit-war? Information icon Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions to Dunki (film), you seemed to act as if you were the owner of the page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You should not revert every other edit made against your version. Tousif ❯❯❯ Talk 14:10, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Levent Mercan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Defender. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Translating citation titles

[edit]

When inserting translated citation titles, do not remove the original-language titles, as this makes it impossible to identify the actual citation. The trans-title parameter is available for this. --Paul_012 (talk) 23:03, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, I'm not sure how to do this. Any way you can help? Sorry, I've removed all 5 of the original language titles. M48SKY (talk) 23:06, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, I've fixed them. See the diff for examples of how to use the parameter: Special:Diff/1255640224. --Paul_012 (talk) 23:13, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Will keep it in mind for next time. M48SKY (talk) 23:14, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
