Welcome!
[edit]Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

Some advice
[edit]When reverting vandalism, you can go to the vandal’s talk page and put in {{subst:uw-vandalism(insert your level here)}}
, where you replace “(insert your level here)” with the level of the warning suitable. Note that there are only 4 levels of warnings, (5 if you count “4im”), and that there is no space in between “vandalism” and “(insert your level here)”.
For example, {{subst:uw-vandalism2}}
will render as this:
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you.
You can also add the page they vandalized. Just insert |1=(insert your comment here)
.
The full code should look like this:
{{subst:uw-vandalism(insert your level here)|1=(insert your page here)}}
If I did it to a Level 1 warning, for example, it renders as this:
Hello, I'm 3PPYB6. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to (insert your page here) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks.
Finally, to add your own comment, add |2=(insert your comment here)
.
The full code should look like this now:
{{subst:uw-vandalism(insert your level here)|1=(insert your page here)|2=(insert your comment here)}}
So, if I did it to a Level 3 warning, for example, it will render as this:
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at (insert your page here), you may be blocked from editing. (insert your comment here)
Hopefully this helps. — 3PPYB6 — TALK — CONTRIBS — 21:39, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
- Also, before your warning, please insert a header with this month. You can use
=={{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{subst:CURRENTYEAR}}==
- It should render like this:
January 2022

[edit]Hello, I'm Glane23. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Farhad Hasanzadeh—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Geoff | Who, me? 23:42, 11 May 2022 (UTC)
- Hello, Glane23
- I fail to see why you have reverted my edit, referring to it as "not constructive".
- Please note :
- 1- Using the word "Farsi" in English is just plain wrong (it's akin to saying "list of books written in Svenska" - instead of using the English word for Svenska, which is Swedish). Some argue that it is used widely - but that doesn't make it right, does it?
- And also ...
- 2- The language is referred to, throughout that same page, as Persian. So... my edit had simply made the page uniform and, if I may say so myself, was quite constructive!
- Based on the above... I am reverting it back to my version.
- I'm sure you will agree.
- Thanks! 14.201.71.150 (talk) 23:51, 11 May 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm RodRabelo7. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to House with Open Door (book) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. - Hello, anon. Just to let you know: I've reverted one of my reversions, assuming your good faith there (indeed it seems preferable to say Persion instead of Farsi). It would be good if you used the edit summary next times, in order to make your edits clearer. Thanks, RodRabelo7 (talk) 01:50, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I'm RodRabelo7. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Rita (Israeli singer), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! RodRabelo7 (talk) 01:53, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
