Whipsandchains
I'm a overseas Chinese and am a native speaker of Hokkien. I am mainly interested in Chinese Mythology and Chinese History particularly the The Three Kingdoms era. Recent developments in my life have also peaked my interest in learning more about Chinese Buddhism.
I do not condone nor support any extremist and fringe views relating to these topics. I contribute to wikipedia mainly so I can share my researches on these two topics. I typically try to stay out of the more "politically" charged articles as ultranationalists, whether they be Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Mongolians or Vietnamese, tend to turn any form of civilized debate into an online crap slinging contest.
I generally work alone as my schedule here on wikipedia is quite sporadic and I dislike being drawn into a "tribe" and being expected to agree with everything the tribe says no matter how stupid it is. I do however contact reliable individuals to get more info on topics I am unfamiliar with.
