Jibrail Nantambu[1] is an American actor raised in New Orleans, Louisana. He is most known for his role in Halloween (2018), starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Judy Greer. Nantambu is also featured in AMC’s The Preacher and Paramount Films’ “Body Cam” starring alongside Mary J. Blige.


Early Life

Jibrail Nantambu was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Jibrail lives with both parents, Zül-Qarnaįn & Dominique Nantambu, and his three siblings. He began acting from a very young age when he and his sister would perform originally written scripts for the whole family. His passion for acting drove him to find an agent and begin auditioning for local productions.


Career

Jibrail’s film debut was in the 2018 remake of the classic Halloween, starring Jamie Lee Curtis. The role garnered him much critical acclaim[2][3] and social media fandom[4], prompting him into more auditions and roles. Nantambu can be seen in AMC’s television series, The Preacher. He also landed another role in Paramount Film’s Body Cam alongside Mary J. Blige playing the role of her character’s son. Currently, Jibrail is working on the Paramount TV production and Apple TV series “INK” as the role of Donny


Personal Life

Jibrail is a practicing Muslim. He is an avid reader and is fluent in French[5]. Jibrail also loves MMA, Boxing, and archery all which he is currently studying.
