Evaluation of References as Reliable Sources

[edit]

[1] Health Service Journal-Expert Brief: A newsletter of NSJ providing results from

  • I cannot access this brief, and I don't know what editorial structure the journal applies to such briefs
  • The journal itself is listed in the Scimago Journal Ranking, but was covered only in 2016
  • Expert Briefs seem to provide information drawn from reports, white papers, etc. that were produced from the journal's parent company's (Wilmington Healthcare) consultancy branch.
Conclusion and Comments
[edit]

This reference can be considered a reliable source for the statement is supports: "eConsult is a medical app developed by the Hurley Group.[1]", Perhaps a better source would be the UK government company registration service Companies House (https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/), which documents the registration of the company, eConsult Health Ltd, that produces and distributes the eConsult software application that this Wikipedia article is about. Here is the link to the Companies House page to reference (https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/07628675/filing-history?page=1). The company was registered in 2011 under the name Hurley Innovations Ltd. and changed its name to eConsult Health Ltd. in 2018. The company now has a second product, eTriage. I think it would be best to have a new Wikipedia article about eConsult Health Ltd. that includes a description of the eConsult and eTriage, if justified by Wikipedia guidelines on notability.
