I changed the link because it caused pages to be linked to "New York (state)", which is a redirect to "New York". Eric S.V. (talk) 03:15, 30 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted back per consensus in discussion at Talk:New York#Proposed action to resolve incorrect incoming links. It's probably better for you to go there and discuss it rather than continue to change links back to New York. - BilCat (talk) 03:23, 30 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
