Judging from the rarity of edits to this template, it seems likely no one will read this. However, this template needs to be updated.

The problem is that the links have been styled yellow through use of span tags. That means the underlines are the wrong colour. It also makes it very difficult to tell which links have been visited, which don't yet have a page, etc.

If no one objects I think we should turn it into a more standardised grey table with ordinary links. It won't look as fancy, but it'll be more consistent and less buggy.

Have now corrected table as per my suggestions above. El T 15:35, 17 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Kingdom of Kongo (14th century to 1867)

[edit]

I removed the link Kingdom of Kongo (14th century to 1867) because many more states were covering the DRC back in the days, and that particular one covered parts of Angola with Kabinda and the other Congo. ---21:16, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

flag?

[edit]

Would it be better to have a image of four flags from Flag of the Democratic Republic of the Congo put together in a grid, rather than the flag using parts of different flags? While it makes sense for people who know all the flags, if you dont know them it may look like it is the flag, rather than one composed of different images --Astrokey44 02:42, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would agree with this. I actually hadn't realized that this was a composite image until quite recently. - BanyanTree 22:15, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have updated the flags and made a grid as suggested. Someone who better knows what flags should be included may wish to change the flags displayed, or their order. El T 11:49, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I removed the image altogether - it's simpler and neater without. El T (talk) 06:26, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
