The Smash Box is already mentioned in the accessories list page, itself already linked within the template, along with all the other unlicensed third-party accessories. It otherwise stands out as the only piece of hardware explicitly mentioned in the template not officially created by Nintendo, despite its highly niche nature. There was initially no pushback to its removal from the template over its lack of notability, until a "reverting-in-retaliation" user came from another dispute and latched onto the issue. Said user cited WP:BIDIRECTIONAL regarding the template's transclusion onto the Smash Box page as justification for its link to remain in the template, but the Smash Box is a fan-made, low-volume piece of unofficial hardware for a single game, and was already adequately covered by its inclusion in the "Smash in eSports" template where it more appropriately belonged. It is not notable enough to be included in the main GameCube template, nor should said template be unnecessarily transcluded onto its own page for the same reason. I look forward to resolving the matter and having the offending link and transclusion removed swiftly. 73.193.138.253 (talk) 20:49, 6 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A controller does not need to be official in order to be included, it just needs to be fully and primarily compatible with the GameCube. It can totally be on both templates and both the list and the template. (Oinkers42) (talk) 15:43, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You can't just revert six months later when people clearly disagree with you, 73.193.138.253. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 07:57, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You disagree. And you only even started going after my edits on these pages in the first place because you began poring through other contributions of mine to spite-revert after you were overriden on the naming clause in the Smash 4 article. I don't believe you're acting in good faith. 73.193.138.253 (talk) 11:21, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
