Mordecai Schreiber Mordecai Schreiber (March 21, 1939-) is an Israeli-born American Reform rabbi. He graduated from The Hebrew Union College in New York in 1965, and has served congregations in the U.S. and in Central America. In 1968 he founded the Agnon School in Cleveland, Ohio. He is the founder of Schreiber Translations and Schreiber Publishing. He is the author of over 50 books on linguistic and biblical topics.
