Hey, I'm pretty sure the save and load functions worked on my cartridge version at some point, which implies that a version of the game may have been produced that could save the game into battery backup. Also, something really ought to be said about the many easter eggs in this game. -Tim Rhymeless (Er...let's shimmy) 04:39, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

is the flipbook link really a good idea? i'll remove it shortly if nobody objects. Djchallis 13:45, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well spotted; link was not acceptable per WP:EL, I have removed it. MarašmusïneTalk 14:01, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mario? Was Mario the name of the character in the original game, like in the instruction booklet? Or was the name Mario attached just because this was the image of a stock character that eventually obtained the name Mario? Anti-auto sign. 67.53.78.15 02:04, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Split-Up

[edit]

This page should be split into Wrecking Crew and Wrecking Crew '98. Why? Because the original Wrecking Crew is different to Wrecking Crew '98! The original Wrecking Crew has no storyline.Pdiddyjr (talk) 09:06, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Different, yes, hence the own section, however the second game is not shown to be notable in its own right (evidenced by the lack of sources), and is Japan-exclusive. Another example is Mario's Picross, where the sequel, Picross 2, is not notable by itself and Japan-exlusive. Salvidrim (talk) 09:16, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Arcade version release date

[edit]

It was released in 1984, not 1985, as it has a 1984 copyright date. Thus, the arcade version was the original version of the game.
