Sides?

[edit]

Why "The yellow tufts ... on the side of the head." and not "sides of the head"? Is it because it's referring to the back side and not the lateral sides? --Menchi 01:35 12 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Toward GA

Nice article with promise and a great opportunity to adorn with cool pics. cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 10:34, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK then:

I'd expand the courting bit and explain skypointing, strutting, and billing
colour and dimensions of egg. extra points for descibing whether new born are naked and hairless etc.
Under Puffins and man, any sanctuaries where they can be seen for tourism, like Grand Manan Island in Bay of Fundy for normal puffins which I saw years ago.
Any other local folklore or legends (or even names) would be really cool too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Casliber (talkcontribs) 10:36, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
