Lack of citations

[edit]

Noticed that the article did have some useful citations, but buried under External Links instead of inline. I've fixed those and added a couple more. The article should be much improved now, but it could still do with a couple more citations before we remove the banner at the top I think. --Rodneyorpheus (talk) 15:46, 4 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi: Thanks for the edits. I just posted about this on the Talk Page of the original (I think) editor who noted those issues (Drm310), but I would imagine you've seen the Page more recently. I've added in some more citations and deleted a few entries where there weren't any citations available. Would you be able to let me know if we can get those banners removed? Or if not, what else we should fix? Thanks! Also I'm not used to adding/editing Talk Pages so hopefully I'm doing this correctly. --Christinelusey (talk) 02:20, 7 July 2015 (UTC)Christinelusey[reply]

@Christinelusey: You edited the talk page correctly. Please continue to discuss matters relating to this article here.
First, I must bring something to your attention. If you are affiliated with Shawn Amos, you should disclose this here and on your userpage. In fact, if you are being paid for your efforts, then you are required to disclose this fact per the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use, which state:

"As part of these obligations, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation."

The means by which you can make such a disclosure are detailed at WP:PAYDISCLOSE. Regardless of whether you are being paid, please review Wikipedia's plain and simple conflict of interest guide to see what practices are and are not considered acceptable for an editor who has an affiliation with the article's subject.
As for the tags, I will remove the one regarding footnotes. The other two issues are still relevant for now, so I will leave those alone. --Drm310 (talk) 20:43, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
