Encyclopedic information

[edit]

@ Alex2006: Regarding your removal of my content: it is encyclopedic when it is a part of a whole that enforces a specific picture - in this case regarding the modern acknowledgement of arab descent. Plus a good news source is used.
And once again, please show the courtesy to at least make your reversion use correct punctuation and layout. You didn't maintain paragraph spacing and the reference doesn't directly follow the full-stop.58.106.248.81 (talk) 22:42, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your comment here, and thanks for the very interesting information about Saracinesco, altough I think that one is still missing: thr village was famous for being home to the most beautiful women in Lazio, better looking than those of the nearby villages. About my revert, I don't think that we need to have there the mayor's name. There is a guideline called Wikipedia:ISNOT, which explains what wikipedia is not: among others, it is neither a showcase for otherwise non notable people, nor a promotion or self-promotion tool. If your problem is describing the "part of a whole that enforces a specific picture", I am sure that you can restore the removed information in an anonymous form, using expression as "the mayor" or "the city council". The mayor name has his/her place in the article, and is in the template. Thanks, Alex2006 (talk) 06:34, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@ Alex2006: OK, I shall do as you advise. Thanks for your guidance.58.106.248.81 (talk) 10:12, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You are welcome! And, once again, I really appreciate your edits, which show a high degree of culture and competence. I was once in Saracinesco: it is really a nice and interesting village, and it deserved a nice article. P.S. Why don't you get an user name? This would make easier the interaction with the community. @ Alex2006: Thankyou for your words of encouragement and appreciation.
You are truly lucky to have visited Saracinesco because judging by the descriptions and photos it looks like a very picturesque place. Perhaps i too will be lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit the place in the future.
I aim to get a username once i find interacting with an IP address too cumbersome; but thanks for the suggestion.
Happy days to you good sir.58.106.248.81 (talk) 13:37, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, same to you! Alex2006 (talk) 14:13, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
