Please bear with me on this one, geology isn't my strong suit.

I see Geothermal field is a redlink. I'm surprised, this seems like a notable topic. However, given the lack of a page here, some users won't know what this is. Is there a section somewhere this could be linked to? Otherwise, a short description of what a geothermal field is might be helpful.

Yeah, I was kind of amazed myself that there wasn't a page. I took a look at the site search and didn't find anything that could be linked from. Even finding a source for a canned definition is hard. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Geography and geomorphology - "48 kilometres (30 mi) north from the border with Chile" This might read better as "north of the border with Chile".

Aye, did that change. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is obviously etymology, but it's stuck in as a clause in a sentence about where the feature is located, this etymology probably needs some more context. It might also warrant its own sentence, so the topics aren't jammed together.

I've cut that sentence in two. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"and isolated and little eroded." - "and are" maybe?

Done, but I wonder if there is a wording w/o the double "and". Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikilink intrusions to the proper article (piped link to Intrusive rock possibly?). Not all readers are going to understand that term.

Added a link. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"The volcanism appear " - Probably should be "The volcanism appears"

Done. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

" it is used in the Calachaca spa" - Is this a reference to Borateras? I corrected the capitalization at the start of the sentence.

Yes, rewrote this a bit. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Will review the rest of the article later. Hog Farm (talk) 18:37, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Geology

"Volcanic rocks include mainly andesite" - Unclear if you're referring to the volcanic rocks at this site or volcanic rocks in general, this should be clarified.

Clarified. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Purupuruni is considered to be part of this volcanic formation" - Which of the formations is this phrase referring to?

Clarified this too. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Geologic history - "and appears to be of Pleistocene age." - The subject of this phrase is "volcanic centres", so the singular "appear" would seem to be better to me than the plural "appears" here.

Pluralized. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Find a wikilink for "fluvial", not everyone's gonna know what this means. Sources look good, AGF on the print and non-English sources.

Link added. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

While not necessary, it would be nice if we could get an image of the formation, but not necessary. Is there a usable image on Commons somewhere?

Searched for one, didn't find anything. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good overall, just these issues. Pinging nominator, Jo-Jo Eumerus. Hog Farm (talk) 23:00, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Hog Farm: Got these. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:37, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
