Fair use rationale for Image:Playskool logo.png

[edit]

Image:Playskool logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:41, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disclosure of potential conflict

[edit]

I've made some edits to this page, and have done so while carefully following WP:NOR, WP:SPAM, WP:NOT as well as WP:COI, as Playskool is a client of my employer. The Playskool page was a stub – I’ve used reliable, third-party sources to help build out a History section, as well as adding in additional information about Playskool products and updating the Playskool logo to its current iteration. I removed some irrelevant information, as well as brushed up some of the existing language to bring the article up to Wikipedia standards. The page is still not perfect, but I believe I’ve made an improvement. If you have any questions or concerns about the article, or my work in general, please feel free to post a note on my talk page. Misleading Commercial?

[edit]

Around 1993/1994 Playskool Made Mr. Frosty V2 Which Kept The Awesome Jingle

MR FROSTY IS SUCH FUN HE MAKES TREATES FOR EVREYONE POP THE ICE UNDER HIS HAT TURN THE HANDLE JUST LIKE THAT SQUIRT IN A FLAVOR THAT YOU LIKE AND DELECIOUS LOLLIES MMM THATS NICE

But... They Kept The Old Video From The 1980s. WTF.

Clearly All They Did Was Add 2 Clips, One Of The Lollies And The "Fantastic New" Ice Shapers And The Over Of The Product. A Voice Over Was Added Saying, "AND NOW THEIRS NEW MR FROSTY WITH FANTASTIC NEW ICE SHAPERS, NEW MR FROSTY FROM PLAYSKOOL" Compared To The Old Ad Were He Only Said The Last 4 Words. This Is Stupider Than Put Google In Your Dock...

In A Conversation With asukasboy's channel, He Said

"Mr. Frosty is kind of a bait-and-switch, since the ad is the original one from the 80s but with a shot of Mr. Frosty v2 stuck on the end. The second version's actually sitting behind me as I write this, precariously propping up a bookshelf with his bobble hat."

If You See Any More Misleading Commercials, Go To Wikipedia Page Toys And Place It In The Talk Area. Until Then, As Big Bird Would Say On Sesame Street, Toodle Loo. I Bet The Mr Frosty Jingle Will Be In My Brain.

Can Someone Update The Image And Sologan

[edit]

Since 2011 The Slogan Is PS Its Playskool And The Page Still Says More Than Play, Can Someone Update That.

Also Change The Photo Because That Says More Than Play, The Only Transparent Photo That I Found So Far Has The 2007 Sologan.

Lullaby and gods night Elmo

I bought this product because it says he speaks Spanish. The one I bought speaks only English . Is there a way to change how he speaks? 2603:7081:407:D1E:48C8:F140:6757:FF6E (talk) 00:04, 8 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
