The result of the proposal was move per request. History merge also done.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 18:05, 26 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Porsche 9R3Porsche LMP2000 – This stalled racing project has a WP:COMMONNAME of simply LMP or LMP2000. It was recently discovered that the internal code name for the car was 9R3, but this is generally not what the car is known as and as stated, and as stated not the actual name of the car. The majority source of the article, Mulsanne's Corner, even used the title LMP1 on their article as late as December 2013. All other sources refer to the car as LMP2000: [1] [2] [3].

Further, the history of the already existing article on Porsche LMP has to be merged with this article, as the original move was done incorrectly. A new article was written on 9R3 and the page on LMP deleted and turned into a redirect, when the two should have a shared history. This alone requires a merger on technical grounds. Given the public debut of the car at Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2018, hopefully there will soon be a copyright free image available to illustrate this article with! 151.133.1.77 (talk) 13:59, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
