[edit]

I removed the tags and rating because polygenes is not really a medical issue as much as a genetics issue with medicinal implications.

[edit]

I removed the following text from the top of the article:

This article is about polygenes, entities that parents pass to offspring during reproduction. For the company, see Polygene Ltd.

My understanding is that disambiguation headers should not be made for non-existant pages. --Matthew 21:47, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mixed race

[edit]

I think the article should have something about normative groups and mixed race individuals. Perhaps it could be in regards to asthmatics. 87.194.35.230 18:55, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Points and Mixed up

[edit]

Well, first of all, it is not only a question of genes, but also of the C2 as well as modifikations due to the environment that are responsible for a more bell shaped distribution. What is also missing: Fisher R.A. ´s contributions in mathematical explanation of the polygeny. Also some meristic inherited illnesses should be added. And actual QTL research. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.78.195.213 (talk) 11:38, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Biology class 12

Too complicated

[edit]

This article is so full of what I guess is called technical jargon that it's ridiculous. What geneticist or molecular biologist is going to refer to this Wikipedia article for their academic, peer reviewed papers? Is this article intended to replace a graduate school textbook? Please for all that is holy just put a simple definition in the first sentence of the article. If you are so tempted to fill the introduction of the article with technical terms then please go write a paper. 98.109.137.129 (talk) 10:15, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
