We will be working on this entry as part of Media Studies COM 520, Fall 2021. Reneehobbs (talk) 23:35, 21 September 2021 (UTC)Renee Hobbs[reply]

This article has some real quality problems: the overview does not provide an explanation for why this topic is important. The headings and subheadings seem to be random themes. There is no historical context provided to understand how this concept has evolved over time. A balanced depiction of the pros and cons of personalization from the point of view of marketers, communicators, and the general public is needed. I will build upon the work of Joseph Turow who has addressed the role of personalization in retail and media industries. Reneehobbs (talk) 23:15, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
