Someone with knowledge of multiple versions of the bible needs to clean up the biblical section of this article. It is completely mangled, and comes from outdated source material, from palimpsestuous editing over several years, from what looked like editwarring about Khazaks and Turks, and from who knows what else. All the social history stuff (about parlours conveying social status, and "funeral parlours" etc being so named because workers converted this room into a work space) is really interesting, but also isn't cited at all. Can anyone add anything? Crinkle puca (talk) 10:17, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
