While the m500 was based on the V form factor, the back was made of plastic instead of metal, which was unfortunate.

I'm also fairly certain the screen had a lower response time. Does anyone know anything about that? Jmissig 20:58, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No info on the OS of the device? 75.168.216.130 (talk) 14:52, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

http://arstechnica.com/reviews/01q2/palm-m505/m505-2.html says "The m50x series includes Palm OS 4.0." 86.15.163.123 (talk) 23:36, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

From PalmOS wiki page: "Palm OS 4.0 was released with the new Palm m500 series on March 19, 2001. This version adds a standard interface for external file system access (such as SD cards) ... The previous optional Mobile Internet Kit is now part of the operating system. " 86.15.163.123 (talk) 09:43, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This article has a list of citations, but none are inline, and there are some claims without sources as well. I don't currently have time to work on this article, but will be able to come back in the coming weeks. Jaidenstar (talk) 15:20, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
