I think Maku, Iran and Mahku refer to the same city, and thus should be merged -- Jeff3000 04:52, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Maku is a Kurdistanian city. You can see the map of Kurdistan and see, that teh provinces of "west azerbaijan", "Kermanshah", "Ilam" and "Koerdistan" are KURDISTAN. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.217.141.25 (talk) 23:08, August 28, 2007 (UTC)

Some parts of Ankara, Istanbul, Germany and USA alongside with west Azerbaijan are Kurdistan! Berlin and Newyork are Kurdistanian cities alongside with Maku! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hochvoltag (talkcontribs) 21:39, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How come you haven't mentioned about Ghara Kelisa. It is one of the oldest Church Located in SW of this town. How did the city resist most strongest earthquakes! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.218.200.126 (talk) 07:45, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The result of this discussion was to Merge Maku (Armenia) to Maku, Iran Klbrain (talk) 23:04, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I propose that Maku (Armenia) be merged into Maku, Iran. The Maku (Armenia) page discussed the same town, but in an earlier period in history (where country boundaries were different); it's a small and poorly-referenced page, suggesting that it should probably be merged with a broader subject. This page seems ideal.Klbrain (talk) 11:26, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why this information unwanted?

[edit]

In 1920-21, at a time when the Republic of Armenia was waging a war of independence, at the same time against Kemalist Turkey and Bolshevik Russia, the Persian sardar(governor) of Maku was the only military ally of Armenia against the invaders, in connection with the occupation of most of the Khanate of Maku by Turkish troops[1][2].Matianian (talk) 11:28, 6 December 2019 (UTC) <--- blocked sock of User:Эльбрус Казбекович[reply]

If you need more citation, just ask for them, don’t delete information. Mark for more citation and I will get them, cause it’s well known fact.Matianian (talk) 11:34, 6 December 2019 (UTC) <--- blocked sock of User:Эльбрус Казбекович[reply]

As noted clearly in the edit summary, that link is a copy of a Wikipedia article. It is obviously not a WP:RS. Simply re-add the material with competent sourcing, and you'll be fine. Kuru (talk) 12:15, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I could not imagine this sources in not competent. So wikipedia is not accepting this maps I guess. I will provide another source. Thanks.Matianian (talk) 12:39, 6 December 2019 (UTC) <--- blocked sock of User:Эльбрус Казбекович[reply]
