Acting bosses?

[edit]

Should acting bosses (otherwise known as "street bosses") be added to the page? For reference, an "acting boss" is someone who runs the day-to-day operations of a particular criminal organization while the "official" boss is in prison. Most, if not all, of the New York crime families are currently run by acting bosses. -Craverguy (talk) 00:47, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP:BLP

[edit]

Per WP:BLP, identifying a living person as a "crime boss", requires an inline reference with a reliable source. GregorB (talk) 13:33, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorting

[edit]

The list is too vague; a sorting of bosses based on nationality, birth/death, years active, crime types is desired. 202.156.13.10 (talk) 13:45, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. I've removed that information from that article as well, as it's been uncited for a decade. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 12:47, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
