The German article de:Aktiengesellschaft is treated as a synonym/sibling article for Joint-stock company, not an independently notable concept. Existing content can be merged to the appropriate section of the Joint-stock company article and later split summary style as needed. czar 19:20, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose: the article is already in summary style, and that structure seems to work well. Klbrain (talk) 09:26, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose: We have articles for other country-specific public company variants (Public limited company, Société Anonyme, OJSC), and Aktiengesellschaft seems deserving of an article as well. Stonkaments (talk) 21:22, 6 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose: This is about German Joint-stock company, not US Joint-stock companies. Telecine Guy (talk) 19:47, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Description of Limited Liability

[edit]

Perhaps I've misunderstood the concepts, but shouldn't the following sentence,

Without limited liability, a creditor would probably not allow any share to be sold to a buyer at least as creditworthy as the seller.

actually say,

Without limited liability, a creditor would probably not allow any share to be sold to a buyer unless the buyer is at least as creditworthy as the seller.
