Creation of the roundabout

It would be nice to add a summary of the relatively recent creation of this roundabout and the new road system, which has so devastated Old Chiswick and Hammersmith. The article on the A4 also omits this topic. I fear that if I wrote it it would violate the POV rules. I will try to find a factual reference though.
