Requesting COI check

[edit]

The main author of this page has only contributed to one article (this one), and uploaded photos stating that the copyright is retained by the person who's the topic of the article. I find the tone to differ from that of most Wikipedia biographies in a way that implies the author had a personal connection or reason to promote the subject. Hope that this can be checked for neutrality (and if necessary, for notability.) Dekimasuよ! 00:44, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The contributor is aware that Wikipedia is not a promotional website; however an earlier entry started on this person on the Turkish site of Wikipedia contained many inacurracies (since rectified) that it has become necessary to monitor and update regularly, not for promotional reasons but for ensuring the dissemination of correct information on the web. The fact that no one else has contributed to the entry should not necessarily mean the information provided is false or misleading. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tchaik6 (talkcontribs) 14:35, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
