This song was also employed partially as background music in the film "Edge of Darkness," for about 3 minutes, in a version featuring a tenor sax -- I'm guessing Charlie "Bird" Parker. It seems to set the stage for the Mel Gibson character depiction as a cool, pensive old guy who celebrated his grown daughter's visit home by playing '20s and '30s jazz on vinyl. But it also sets up a mood. Maybe something for wiki jazz projects?

This is confirmed by the IMDb "Edge of Darkness" entry, except of course that Charlie Parker played the alto saxophone (not tenor.)86.16.153.234 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:49, 10 April 2012 (UTC).[reply]
