Pronunciation

[edit]

"(pronounced "E-V-A Air(ways)" <-- Does this match others' experience? I've certainly heard EVA pronounced as one word and not the letters, though I've only flown it twice and don't speak Chinese. Thomas Craven (talk) 18:23, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

My entire life in both Canada and Thailand, it is always pronounced EVA (ee-va) Air - one word. 198.103.104.11 (talk) 03:45, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It is popularly called "Eva Air" but the official pronunciation is "E-V-A" as shown in these official videos from the carrier: [1] (at 0:32), and here [2] (at 0:42). Regards, SynergyStar (talk) 07:30, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why did they retire the 747 from their fleet?

[edit]

I really miss the 747 being Eva airs fleet. Why did they retire it? 66.215.202.57 (talk) 19:42, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Result: Delisted. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 14:14, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This 2008 listing has not been adequately updated since its promotion, and as a result, there is significant uncited material throughout the article.

There is also an advertisement tag in the "Services" section, and the "History" section is very biased towards the airline's earlier years. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 17:09, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
