This line appears midway through the article...

"Some critics, nevertheless, believe that this position panders to homophobia in parts of the electorate."

I believe this statement should be removed, not because a citation is needed to verify its source, but because it is a biased and unfounded statement regarding oposition to gay marriage.

"He is also known to have a pro-life stance on abortion issues." - Does anyone have a source for this?

His election literature in 2004 noted he was the only pro-life candidate running in Pickering-Scarborough East, but I no longer have a copy of that. - I'll see what else I can dig up. 22:08, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

highly unlikely and completely uncited. In any case its hardly relevant. Why would you revert an edit that removes just the word 'accurately'? And why revert the talk page asking the question?
