Merger proposal

[edit]

Miuna Saito and Asami Kimura should be merged to Country Girls (band) because as individuals, they do not satisfy requirements for WP:MUSICBIO. Any information is limited and neither have not been involved in notable solo projects outside of Country Musume. lullabying (talk) 00:04, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Split proposal

[edit]

Proposal to split Country Musume and Country Girls (band). These are two separate bands, with one based on the other. Names are different, history/releases are different, and members are different -- Mai Satoda is only a supervisor/mentor to the group and she isn't even listed as a member. Tagging @Onel5969: and @Abdotorg: who were involved with a previous attempt at a split for input. I would split this via WP:BOLD but because I noticed that there was a revert attempt it's better to discuss it so it's not as controversial. lullabying (talk) 18:45, 25 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi and thanks for the ping. Don't think there's enough there to warrant a split. I think Musume can be included in the target article. Onel5969 TT me 00:45, 26 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Onel5969: The only issue is they aren't necessarily the same band? One is definitely inspired by the other but they are not the same group since they have different members and different releases. lullabying (talk) 20:51, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Onel5969: I would also say that they've released plenty of albums and singles under different names. They can't really be considered the same group. lullabying (talk) 16:48, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
