Should not redirect to Breast_implant. Cell Assisted Lipotransfer is not an implant. Breast enlargement methods other than breast implants are removed from the Breast_implant article. 121.209.149.44 (talk) 19:19, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal of redirecting to Breast Augmentation

[edit]

Would anyone object to this move? I see that the information in this article is already under Breast Augmentation and this seems to be very short in size and has not been updated in some time. 107.216.116.49 (talk) 18:12, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I think that's a good idea. Ms-Isabel (talk) 07:23, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Missing sources

[edit]

The article states the following:

The amount of adipose tissue that will be added to the breasts varies from person to person and is controlled by the KLF14 gene.[6]
Additional modification of the KLF14 gene can thus make sure even more of the adipose tissue increase will occur at the breasts.

where [6] cites a paper which does not once contain the sub-string "breast", which makes this claim unverified. How does [6] verify that

  1. KLF14 regulates the amount of adipose tissue located/forming/growing at the breasts
  2. Modifying KLF14 "additionally" can cause "even more" adipose tissue to "occur at" the breasts

Especially the second claim was rather surprising to me, as the cited paper [6] does not seem to discuss genetic modification/engineering/manipulation at all.

I do not believe that moving or merging this page would be of benefit to Wikipedia or its users. B42-sneak (talk) 23:18, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
