The site requires a re-write. It's a verbatim copy of what appears on the original website, and cannot be used in an encyclopedia. I added the template accordingly.

Article issues

[edit]

Article is supposedly sourced through the "External links" with an "unofficial" website, that does not have much but includes "...such a wonderful and talented artist that Brídín is.", and a dead link (buy this domain) fan site, so content would be assumed to have come from somewhere or possibly original research. Tagged since 2016 as having no sourcing the article is approaching career unsourced status. Otr500 (talk) 13:51, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Birthdate?

[edit]

Recently, the birthdate was set to July 10, 1968. But I don't see a source. What is the source for that date? Candace66 (talk) 00:28, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Above is a link to the most definite information I've seen. And as you can see, it is vague and does not provide a specific date. Candace66 (talk) 00:36, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Since the individual who added the birthdate never provided a source, I removed it. I reinstated the more general description of Bridin's birthdate and included a source (1989 newspaper clipping). That old article is not available online so I had to upload the snip to Flickr, then link it in the citation. Candace66 (talk) 20:36, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And now someone has re-added the 10 July birthdate. Apparently the "source" is an edit made back in 2021. However, the account that made that edit has been blocked from Wiki and definitely shouldn't be considered a reliable source. Candace66 (talk) 15:07, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
