Despite having been reverted multiple times over the past two weeks by two different editors (myself and @SpyMagician) and having been advised to state his/her case on the Talk Page more than once, 68.172.229.107 has decided to edit war, which is why I have decided to bring this to the Talk Page myself.
As anyone who has seen the article may know, the plot summary to this article is too long and excessively detailed. A couple of weeks ago, 68.172.229.107 attempted to expand the plot summary further than it already is ([1]). After being reverted and having been explained to in the edit summary that the plot summary needs to be shortened rather than lengthened, 68.172.229.107 attempted to expand the plot summary again, only to be reverted a second time. For weeks now, 68.172.229.107 has been insistently trying to expand the plot summary further and further, and has not attempted to provide any explanation. - And 68.172.229.107 just broke the Three Revert Rule. Darkknight2149 (talk) 03:46, 30 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- My two cents @Darkknight2149? This IP user making edits with no explanation might be annoying, but it seems that the plot summary is excessively bloated even without their edits. Check diff to see what I mean. So in my opinion, the best course of action here might be for someone to do a fairly radical condensing of the plot summary so it’s like 50% to 60% shorter. That act in and of itself should hopefully send the message that Wikipedia is about concise information. That said, I did place a 3RR warning on 68.172.229.107’s talk page. But this is still pretty much an edge case of opinions as to what the article should be. --SpyMagician (talk) 04:09, 30 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Condensing the edit summary would be very helpful. I would do it myself but I am currently in the process of a series of major edits to improve another article, so I wouldn't have the time. Darkknight2149 (talk) 04:25, 30 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
