Contested deletion

Not Encyclopedia Worthy

[edit]

I don't believe this is worthy of an article. It is a brand new application for iOS only and appears to only be spam advertising. Does not even currently have a following like more worthy applications such as Angry Birds. If every app developer created an article for whatever app they create, Wikipedia would be flooded with worthless advertisements passing off as articles. 209.74.45.21 (talk) 17:18, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also it appears that it does not meet notability requirements. All sources appear to be press releases or paid-for marketing write ups. 209.74.45.21 (talk) 17:44, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it is the first game that uses a persons vocals and rhythmic rapping ability to determine a score. The founders of the company filed a patent in 2009 for a policy-based method and system for scoring original vocal performances. This is well documented and supported. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dalerichards (talkcontribs) 04:44, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... This game is truly the 1st game of its kind. There has never been a rap game that uses original vocals as a determining factor to score your performance. This Game has received numerous unpaid write ups from notable sources. (Notable writes up.( ref 4)Allhiphop.com, (ref 3) sohh.com are the largest hip hop news sites in the world and are very notable and larger than most pop news sites . College times is a highly touted news publication. All independent sources and articles. (Joeblack 98 (talk) 17:09, 21 November 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Conflict of Interest

[edit]

I believe that a conflict of interest exists with most of the editors regarding this article and other related articles. Not to say that the editors are doing anything in bad faith, but they appear to be directly tied to the subject matter, doing self-promotion, citing promotional articles, campaigning their new, relatively unknown product, and have close relationships. Can the editors JoeBlack_98 and Dalerichards please disclose their interests or ties with Battle Rap Stars and Jump Shot Media? 209.74.45.21 (talk) 14:42, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
