Ascania
[edit]What is the reason to call her "of Ascania"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.0.49.156 (talk) 23:48, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
Other sources
[edit]The article currently doubts the supposed assassinations. This is not referenced.--Meggeo (talk) 00:13, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
Political work
[edit]This article currently claims that Balthild was a competent political leader. This claim does not seem to be fully supported by the subsequent examples of her work to abolish slavery as it is not clear whether Balthild was considered by her contemporaries to be a proficient bureaucrat. The article also goes on to discuss her brutality. Are there any non-hagiographic sources that would support this claim? If not, bias should be noted more clearly.--Meggeo (talk) 00:12, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
