  • Tagging Redirects - to help with tracking of best practices tracking common name variant redirects like "in" vs "of" can be tagged with the project template which classifies as NA, but allows tracking if the redirect exists or is deleted where it may be a common variant. This or other proposal to help track linking would be good to develop. It would be good to have an overview of articles with possibilities just for WP Lakes instead of sifting through Category:Redirects_with_possibilities

      • Nominate mature conventions for broader consensus and feedback. Wikipedia:Policies_and_guidelines#Proposals
  • Automate Project tagging where reliable - setup in progress - recursive tagging of lakes by country with category pattern filters - setup discussion - Requested bot monitor Category:Lakes by country and tag.
  • Automate WikiProject Lakes Watchlist - currently articles are manually added.
  • Create redirect tracking category for possibilities like Category:Redirects with possibilities by WikiProject
  • Look at Collaboration of the Week structure - Template:COTWs and Wikipedia:WikiProject_Birds/Collaboration for ideas for Lakes

    • Set Measurable Goals
      • Minimum threshold of coverage per region
    • Develop metrics for bias in coverage
