Agnolotti, ravioli, and beef Stroganoff's histories this month sum this up. These two users are pushing nearly identical esoteric POVs about French origin of different foods (that you're probably now craving). The two accounts may well be right (and there is a clearly unrelated antagonistic editor whose behavior is not exemplary) but the conceptual overlap is striking. Obstinate undoing of 2 pages, ignoring previous versions info and strangely aware of Xiaomichel even though they've only edited for several days Silverleaf81 (talk) 16:29, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Melissa.tolu is quacking: a new user making exactly ten edits (mostly quick MOS:OVERLINKs) then restoring Xiaomichel's earlier edit to the semi-protected Croissant article. Account was created an hour after Xiomichel's edit was reverted. Belbury (talk) 14:09, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Adding User:2A02:8388:8C04:6D80:F93E:E9E2:D56:41A0 and User:84.115.216.219, who restored some other Xiaomichel edits shortly after this SPI was raised against Melissa.tolu. --Belbury (talk) 17:11, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

New user directly restoring most of the blocked user's past edits to Agnolotti, as their first edit ([1], [2]) Belbury (talk) 17:20, 11 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A new user repeating Xiaomichel's unhelpful style of editing: changing an article to say that some piece of broad European cuisine was definitely invented in France alone and/or that a recipe was "first recorded" in France, citing throwaway lines in cookbooks which don't always support the statement, or a historical French primary source to inappropriately support the claim that the source itself was the "first record" of a recipe.

Xiaomichel edited the puff pastry article to talk up France over Spain in December 2022 ([3]). IP User:91.67.123.120 restored part of Xiaomichel's edit in June when it had been reverted ([4]) and added the Let's Eat France! cookbook as a source ([5]). Mikerivas93 is now adding that same cookbook as a source ([6]) to the same article. Belbury (talk) 09:02, 13 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Once the page protection for Agnolotti expires, the user 93.23.197.91 consistently attempts to attribute the origin of this Italian dish to France, inserting misleading information not backed by robust sources. In addition its tactic is it opens new investigation against me and other people. I noticed that the user has started a new editwar on Agnolotti. I suspect that it is a sockpuppet of User_talk:Xiaomichel. I recall that the user and their sockpuppets have already been blocked for the reported misconduct. As to its talk page, the user has fraudulently attempted to attribute the origin of several other Italian dishes to France including ravioli. You can check also his old sockpuppet User:Juan.Alvarez6. Just for your information and to be honest, i was rightfully partially blocked in the past months for having cancelled the content by this individuals systematically but i have never used a sockpuppet in my life. This said, therefore, I request the user's block. Frukko (talk) 23:54, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Each chooses a single/two related Italian food topics to avoid interaction, edits focus on making the food seem less associated with Italy (Xiaomichel's focus), first edit for all but Oxbowa was to turn user page blue.

Oxbowa at Orzo, changing content to indicate Italy not primary origin. Special:Diff/1233328373 "You are biased and think this is only Italian."
Greyczech at Nduja, addition of French etymology in lead sentence
Eduardos at Bagna Cauda, changing it from Italian to Provencal
Sapsby at Cappucino, changing it from Italian to Austrian. Valereee (talk) 13:57, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oxbowa is back at work: [7]. JacktheBrown (talk) 14:31, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
