Everyone belives that the best "Ace" pitchers are Cy Younge or Noylan Ryan, though the first real, true ace was Asa Brainerd. Those that don't know what an "ace" is, an ace is the pitcher on a team that is the dominate pitcher of a team such as nowadays Curt Schilling, Roy Halladay, Dontrelle Willis ext. It all started with this pitcher from the Cinncinati Red stockings who had 65 wins in a row. That is the most wins in a row ever!Now, because of this pitchers back then called their best pitchers their "Asa" which later developed into "Ace". The book "Baseball's Book of Firsts" Asa played for the Red stockings from 1869 to 1807.

This has neither been confirmed nor disproven, although both Wayne and Gillie remain firm in their views. Members of the Hots & Sqad Up (Lil Wayne's old "crew") have previously stated that Lil Wayne has never needed a ghost writer. Lil Wayne can be seen wearing a diamond-studded pendant belonging to Gillie in one of his music videos[citation needed], although this does not necessarily have any correlation with the ghostwriting issue. Wayne also addresses his situation with Gillie on multiple tracks throughout Da Drought 3. During their dispute, Gillie also alleged that Lil Wayne may have been molested at a young age by his mentor Baby [2]. Gunspinning refers to the old west tradition and hollywood legend of a cowboy gunslinger twirling his pistol around his trigger finger. Gunspinning is a western art such as trick roping, and is sometimes referred as gunplay, gun artistry, and gun twirling. Some modern day western performers and actors such as Will Roberts and Joey Dillon can spin guns in each hand, and even incorporate juggling and tosses over the shoulders and around the body. Joey Dillon is a multiple world champion at this craft, as seen as a gun handling expert on the History Channel's Wild West Tech series, and biography and Discovery Channel appearances The majority of gunspinning is seen as a precursor to putting the gun back in it's holster. Other times to spin the gun around include a fancy ending to a trick shot, or just to impress or intimidate an opponent. A famous and more recent example of the latter is actor Micheal Biehn's portrayal of Johnny Ringo and his gunspinning duel with Doc Holliday (Val Kilmer) in the film "Tombstone." Jesse Kevin Noone is a eugene base photographer and guitar artist. He plays shows at numerous house parties. He is strongly influence by the hyphy movement, which was introduced to him by graphic human Scott Cooper. He is known for his widely ranging moods which are strongly present in his life style and art. He is a strong guitarist who uses a strong pick and a wailing voice which produces a scary symphonic noise. Many people believe that his heritege contribute to this style comming from a desperate island in the hawian chain. He longs to become a better person in many ways and this struggle informs his art and his music. His photographs are compositionaly great but he lacks a proper background to create great are. He is most famous for his art of his greecian times in which he joined a college program to rebuild athens. Although this was a great time in his life he had trouble carrying this momentum forward. He is also notorius from his non-phone rule in which no one around him is allowed to have any other interests than himself 1.

Edward Guglielmino is a musician/net-celebrity well known though-out the Australian music community for is alternative/experimental music, and his obsession with celebrity in art reminiscent of Andy Warhol. As a completely independent independent musician (no label support ), Guglielmino makes a living from mp3 downloads, and and merchandise sales mainly sold though his myspace profile and thought touring Australia and mainly Europe.

Guglielmino was originallly based in Brisbane Australia, In his city of origin Brisbane Guglielmino reached cult status, selling out shows, and being recognized in the street despite the fact he had no support from traditional media e.i Television or Radio.

After reaching cult status Television and Radio picked up on this shift. He has since featured on Radio in Australia and Europe, and appeared on the television station ABC 2 in 2007.

In 2007 Edward Guglielminos band "Lost of Love" was shut down for being too unusual for a public gig in the Valley in Brisbane.

Guglielmino attended the Queensland University of Technology from 2001-2005 graduating from a degree in Sound, Fine-Art, Film, and Art Business Management with Honours.

Guglielmino also runs a record label called Television Records.

About his own success he states

“I will not be satisfied until I head up a corporation the size of Sony or EMI that has the advertising dollars and networks and resources to offer the same exposure to genuine art practitioners that are currently being supplied to artists like Madonna or Britney Spears,” In 2006 he was mentioned on another cult-status-net-celebrity internet video blog the Zefrank show.

Chin ball is a new alternative sport originatiating from the southwest region of the united states. The game is simple and easy for a begginner to learn, but as a player develops skill, combinations and trick bounces are learned, and the sport takes on a seemingly endless degree of difficulty.

The Games concept as stated above is simple. Participants only need a raquett ball, arms, and a neck. (thats right... legs not required.) The ball is simply bounced on the ground, and on its return up, players attempt to catch the ball with their chin, namely between their chin and upper chest. Most naturally cordinated people are quick to catch on, but some require time to catch the rythme and timing required to accomplish the task. As soon as players are comfortable with this process, the real fun begins. Players now are able to add their own variations of off the wall, multiple bounces combinations, quickly gaining the respect of their competition

The game is most commonly played in the h-o-r-s-e format. Players that cant accomplish a catch previously accomplished by the opponent will be given a letter of any desired word. As soon as one player recieves all the leters in the designated word, he or she is declared the loser. The game is also played in a friendly manner, where a winner is not required, and a good time is all that people are seeking.

La Otra is a Televisa telenovela that aired in the summer of 2002 on the Canal de las Estrellas channel in Mexico and in the fall of 2002-winter of 2003 on Univision in the United States. It stars Yadhira Carrillo, Juan Soler, Jacqueline Andere, Sergio Sendel, and Ofelia Guilman.

The show begins when a woman takes her two small daughters to a funeral on a dark, stormy night. They are not welcome at this funeral and they are thrown into the mud by a young man named Roman. He is the son of Leopoldo, who was the lover of the lady named Bernarda. Leopoldo and she had a daughter named Carlota.

Years later, Carlota and her sister Eugenia are grown up. Little do Carlota and Bernarda know that Eugenia is secretly dating Roman and has even slept with him. Roman has slept with her for the sole purpose of revenge, believing that she is his half-sister, when in reality she is the daughter of Delfino, not Leopoldo.

Bernarda is a materialistic and determined woman. That is, determined to never allow her daughters to live a life of happiness. She would love to keep all of Leopoldo's money, which means keeping any man from marrying her daughters. She expects the best out of Eugenia, who in reality is failing in college. She expects the worst out of Carlota, whom Bernarda calls an "inutil para nada" (good-for-nothing).

Carlota, however, secretly begins a romance with a young doctor named Alvaro. Their romance eventually reaches the point of wanting to get married. When Bernarda finds out about their romance, she adamantly opposes, but eventually allows them to get married. Of course, she has an ulterior motive behind the permission.

When Bernarda and Carlota find out that she is pregnant, Eugenia is thrown out of the house. When she gives birth to her baby and gets deathly ill from the complications, Bernarda throws all of her secrets upon Eugenia, causing her to die more quickly. Eugenia also has her housekeeper Tomasa lie to everyone and say the baby died, when in reality she is giving it up for her newly wed spouse Santos to take care of him. Just seconds before she dies, Eugenia proclaims upon Bernarda a sense of lifetime guilt for her death. She dies, leaving her wicked mother destroyed.

When Eugenia's body is delivered to Bernarda, Alvaro asks for Carlota, but Bernarda says that Carlota died in a freak accident. She denies him access to view the dead body by lying that Carlota's body is unrecognizable. Destroyed, he goes home to his parents' hacienda in a rural town, where he meets Cordela. She will occupy the place of La Otra.

Heroes is the twenty-third episode in season 2 of CSI:NY, a spin-off of the popular police procedural, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. This episode originally aired on May 10, 2006.

The episode opens with New York in the midst of "Fleet Week"; the body of a marine, Corporeal Trevor Price, is discovered in Central Park, bringing the festivities to an abrupt halt. A preliminary site survey reveals that Price was stabbed once in the chest; the victim's uniform is neat and no traces of his killer can be found on his hands or under his fingernails - it appears as if he did not defend against his attacker. The body was found is off the beaten path and Price was wearing a dress uniform, which according to Mac is inconsistent with Marines participating in the festivities. The CSIs surmise that Price was visiting New York and was ambushed, Danny further deduces that the Price was killed elsewhere and the body dragged to its present location. ME Hammerback performs an autopsy back at the lab and confirms that cause of death was indeed the stab wound. Also on the body are numerous yellowish bruises, which are unrelated to the attack on Price since the timing with the stab wound is inconsistent. Mac pays a visit to the Commanding Officer of Price's platoon, the interview reveals that the bruising occurred while Price trained against his peers in the "bull-ring", a battle royale style of combat training. The C.O. confirms that Price separated from the rest platoon to take care of a personal matter; the interview leaves the impression that Price was a fine combatant and dedicated soldier.

Meanwhile in the city, Stella, Hawkes and Lindsay are investigating the site of a gruesome murder: a car was torched and the victim inside was charred beyond recognition. Preliminary analysis shows that the though fire charred the interior of the car and bubbled some of the paint on the exterior it did not spread very far, it burned hot and it burned fast. The car is traced to Charles Wright and the body is removed and sent in for postmortem; Hammerback initially identifies the victim as female and that the cause of death was blunt-force trauma - several of her ribs and an ulna were broken and there was fracturing along her zygomatic arch; it is unknown whether or not the attack was sexually motivated. Hawkes removes the skull and cleans it, he proceeds to reconstruct the face. First, a crude sketch is produced by assigning the shapes and contours of facial features based on marking off a number of critical points on the skull; at the same time, Stella and Lindsay are analyzing the car - Lindsay lifts an unusual-looking print off one of the car windows. The print turns out to be an ear, Lindsay and Stella believe that it belongs to the killer as it does not fit in proportion with the victim. It turns out Wright (the owner of the car) reported that he witnessed his car being stolen after the murder took place. The CSIs now have a suspect with which to work. Next, Hawkes uses a device called a FastScan to digitally reconstruct the face; he is in disbelief as he looks closely at the reconstruction. Mac is the next to see the reconstruction and his reaction, while as composed as he is expected to be, is also one of disbelief - the victim is Aiden Burn. The members of the team that knew Aiden (everyone except Lindsay) is gathered and shown the identity of the victim; they are devastated.

Interrogation of Wright reveals that he lied about the timeline of the car theft in an attempt to hide the fact that he was cheating on his wife with a male prostitute; Mac and Stella are visibly angry during the interrogation, their questioning is forceful and direct. A lima bean found on Price leads Danny to a street hustler named Rondo, who uses lima beans as a mark in a game of shells. After a bit of pressure, Rondo concedes that he did meet Price, who subsequently lost Rondo's game and kept the lima bean as a souvenir. When questioned about a cut on his cheek, Rondo responds that Price was laissez-faire about losing while others were not. Danny takes a DNA sample.

Wright's ear does not match the print lifted from the car. The CSIs have lost a suspect added to the fact that they lost a comrade. Reminiscing about the last time she saw Aiden, Stella reveals that Aiden was last working on her private investigator's license. Investigating Aiden's apartment reveals that she had been shadowing D.J. Pratt, a serial rapist that had previously eluded arrest due to a lack of evidence. Mac and Stella confront Pratt, who immediately cries harassment and threatens legal with action.

Traces brass cleaner and beer are found on Price, artificial flavouring from the beer leads the CSIs to a particular bar; Flack gets right on it. The first bartender flack interviews says that she was not working on the night in question. A second bartender admits to seeing Price and that Price was looking for someone named Ellie, who supposedly worked there; the bartender notes that he had never heard the name before. While looking at the car again, Stella and Lindsay find that the car was stolen with a tool speckled with paint; Pratt had been painting an apartment when Mac and Stella confronted him earlier. The paint sample is later proven to be too common to warrant an arrest.

Notable evidence for Price's case

A drop of blood from an unknown donor found on Price's sleeve; a pocket watch engraved for someone named Ellie; traces of specialty flavoured beer found on the Price's trousers.

The drop of blood found on the sleeve of Price's uniform; it tests positive for mucous, which indicates that it came from a bleeding nose. While contemplating how the drop of blood got on the uniform, Mac demonstrates (on Danny) how a Marine would have defended against a knife attack. The resulting injuries, Mac and Danny deduce, are severe enough to require medical attention and are distinct enough such that searching recent hospital admittances should lead them to the attacker. The defensive counter would have incapacitated the attacker, therefore Price was killed by a second attacker.

Investigating Aiden's photographs of Pratt reveals that he knew of her investigation; a trap was set up and Aiden was lured into it. Aiden got to know Pratt's modus operandi (i.e. the type of women he targeted) and tracked his whereabouts; she deduced Pratt's next potential victim and moved into the same apartment. Pratt shows up at the apartment to do a paint job (and rape his victim as per his M.O.) only Aiden would be there to nail him. Unfortunately this girl, the apartment and the paint job were all a ploy to lure Aiden into a false sense of security. Pratt stole Wright's car, forced Aiden into it and beat her to death before torching it. Hawkes enters the scene with new evidence - a bite mark on the armrest of the car; this stirs something in Mac.

Notable evidence for Aiden's case

Flack and Danny have found a perfect match to the injuries. The attacker was dropped off at the hospital by his wife, who is sitting outside his hospital room; she has visibly been beaten by her husband and clearly suffers from battered-spouse syndrome. Danny breaks the events of Price's murder down for her: the husband had one too many drinks on the evening of the murder and started to beat his wife just as Price happened upon them, he took out the husband with a sleeper hold and is subsequently knifed by the wife.

Mac and Stella are able to arrest Pratt for the stolen car. Pratt is smug at first and threatens legal action, but Mac and Stella covered their bases and had him photographed in detainment. His ear is a perfect match to the print, which puts him in the car, and a bite mark on his arm matches the bite mark on the armrest, which nails him. Mac knew to look for a bite-mark on Pratt's arm when he found out about the armrest because it alluded to a case Aiden had worked as a young investigator. Stella invites Mac out for a drink but he wants to take care of something first. Mac is at the bar interviewing the first bartender that Flacked interviewed earlier, her name is Alexandria. It turns out that "Ellie" is the nickname given to her by her fiancė, who was killed in action overseas; Price knew him and was in town to return the watch.

The episode closes with the team toasting to the life of Aiden Burn.

Headcandy is a series of DVD and VHS programs which immerse the viewer in a soothing, hypnotic and kaleidoscopic light show of music, light and sound. Each program was crafted and timed to work while wearing special white-light refracting prism glasses included with each program. In a dark room with the TV as the only light source, the glasses would "split" the screen into multiple images, oftentimes alternating from a single, wall-sized area to multiple screens of psychedelic visuals and free-floating objects. Coupled with the eclectic and soothing music included (plus the stick of Primo brand incense which came in later packages) the effect on the viewer was nothing short of hallucinatory bliss.

Headcandy became an minor international cult phenomenon throughout the 1990's as creators Christopher Juul and Doug Jipson released five different colorful and kaleidoscopic "experiences" from 1992 through 1999.

Beginning

The first Headcandy title was picked up for distribution by ex-Monkee Michael Nesmith's label, Pacific Arts. "Headcandy: Aerobics For The Brain" was released on VHS and laserdisc in 1993 (initially with two pair of prism glasses included). Riding alongside the success of Miramar's "The Minds Eye" video series of computer generated images, interest was excellent, prompting Pacific Arts to order a sequel. Volume Two of Headcandy was created, but never released. This title featured music from Tampa musician Michael Brown and was about 60 minutes in length.

Headcandy with music from Brian Eno & Robert Fripp

Headcandy teamed with Los Angeles based multi-media upstart ION in late 1993. ION had just completed a "new" technological step forward in music and album content by creating an interactive CD-ROM called "Jump" which starred David Bowie and featured his music. Headcandy, now redubbed "Headcandy with music by Brian Eno" featured a collaboration with Robert Fripp in what turned out to be their first collaboration in years. Five original pieces of music were created to accompany the mesmerizing visuals: Castro Haze, Manila Envelope, Spunk Worship, Beast, Alloy Balcony and Jets Overhead. The Headcandy CD-ROM was a finalist in the "1996 Digital Hollywood Awards" competing against other titles by Bob Dylan, Todd Rundgren, and The Cranberries in the category " BEST MUSIC CD-ROM". This title was about 45 - 50 minutes in length and is currently out of print.

Sidney's Psychedelic Adventure

"Sidney's Psychedelic Adventure" was released in 1996 / 1997 on DVD and VHS. This volume included music by then late Grateful Dead leader Jerry Garcia (with Merl Saunders) to anchor the soundtrack along with ambient electronic music from Alpha Wave Movement, Richard Bone and more. This title was packaged with two pairs of prismatic glasses and a stick of Primo incense and was roughly 60 minutes in length.

Psychedelic Headcandy

"Psychedelic Headcandy" was released in 1999. Using state-of-the-art digital technology, Headcandy again succeeded in creating a completely mind-blowing series of kaleidoscopic and trippy images set to ambient and world music. The "Psychedelic Headcandy" soundtrack included songs from Mickey Hart (of the Grateful Dead), Tom Aragon, Saul Stokes, Richard Bone, Syndrone and more. This title was roughly 60 minutes in length and was only released on VHS for a short time.

Formed in early 2004 by Taylor Bortner and Armon Pakdel, Oil Spill was the product of attempting to bring environmental awareness through alternative means. Immediately after the band's formation, the two performed local shows using the drummers from the bands that were performing alongside them. They cycled through drummers for two years until Taylor met Johnny Blatant at a comedy club in Reno. He became the permanent drummer for the band shortly afterwards.

In 2007, Oil Spill began recording their first album, Acid Rain. It is expected to be released sometime in late July.

Oil Spill are characterized by their short, heavy, fast paced songs with melodic interludes. Pakdel's range goes from 'growling' to 'grunting', while Blatant's blast beats keep the melody flowing.

DREAMBOY was a R&B / funk band from Oak Park, Michigan, who were one of the first bands to sign with Quincey Jones' new QWEST Record label in 1984. The group was founded by muscian and lead singer Jeff Stanton (Mumford High School) and Perry "PC" Jenkins (Oak Park High School) who was not a musician. Group members Included fellow Oak Park High students Dewey Twymon, James Hunt Jr, Paul Stewart and Jeff Bass who later became known as one half of the Bass Brothers who produced an artist they discovered now known as "Eminem". The group was brought to the attention of brothers and soon to become managers Al and Carl Taylor by Perry Jenkins. DREAMBOY had several songs that charted in Billboard most notiably "Don't Go" "Contact" and "I Promise". They also had success touring in the early 80's and was road managed by Vincent "Vinne" Berry.

DREAMBOY'S mild success help pave the way for other Detroit groups including "Ready for the World" who were more successful with their number 1 hit "Oh Sheila".

The Palace, is a reference to an apartment located in the Yonge and Davisville area of Toronto, Ontario. Founded by two high school acquaintances seeking self-rule and an independent lifestyle Michael S. and Isaac E. rented a two bedroom apartment down the street from their parents households and “The Palace” was born. Originally the bachelor pad was referred to as “mike and ike’s”, however due to the candy bar of the same name with the slogan “the original fruits” the boys quickly started to refer to their new apartment as “the palace of poon-tang” to eliminate any homosexual undercurrents of the previous name. However the poon-tang citation was eventually dropped and the bachelor pad’s now infamous name was born.

Founded on September 15th, 2002 The Palace is a large 2 bedroom apartment on the 29th floor of a midtown Toronto apartment building. It is best known for its relaxed attitudes towards cleanliness and responsibility, as well as its technological wonders. The common room includes a projector that throws a 100 inch viewing screen on the main wall, complimented by a full surround sound system and assortment of video game systems. The main room also features a dart board, foosball table, mini pool table, and original full sized street fighter II arcade machine. The balcony has a panoramic view of the city featuring a torn and sullied couch for outdoor activities. It is not uncommon to see a large pile of garbage in the kitchen often spilling out into the dinning room and viewing area. The fridge, only used to store coke and condiments, has onions that have been growing in the crisper since early 2006 and have now sprung roots protruding several inches out of the crisper itself.

The Palace is currently occupied by Michael S. and Kamal M. during the year, with Will D. replacing Kamal during the summer while he is apprenticing at Microsoft. The palace is frequented by Martin S, Dr. Jonathan E, Colin A, Jon P, Joh R and Jesse M. Since its inception The Palace has garnered international attention as a Toronto tourist destination for the youth of the world.

Hampus, born 1982, grew up in Tärnaby and was one of the most talented skiers in Sweden, predicted to walk in skiing legend Ingemar Stenmarks footsteps. Then he discovered snowboarding…

He started snowboarding school, 1998, won the junior world championships in halfpipe and became professional snowboarder on Quiksilver within a few years. Now he's made it to the absolute top in the snowboarding world. 2005 he was awarded »rookie of the year« and nominated to the "Transworld standout male performance" for his 9,5-meter air at pro tour contest, the Battle. In 2005 Hampus won the most prestigious competition of them all, the Nokia Air and Style Games.

Rodolfo M. Cañeda was born on August 15, 1956 in Cebu City, Philippines. He is the fourth of nine childern of Pablo Cañeda Sr. Rudy, as his friends would like to call him, and his family migrated to Cotabato City when he was still young. His other brothers were born there. He spent his high school years in Notre Dame University. He then won as Kabataang Baranagay (Now SK or Sangguniang Kabataan) in the Barangay of Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City. He then went to the Visayas and later became an activist against the Marcos Dictatorship with some of his friends.

Rolodfo Cañeda or simply "Rudy" has been known to people and peers as the KID because of his connection to the youth. He has held many government offices. Rudy was a child turned activist turned government servant.

Rudy was born in August 15, 1965 to Mr. and Mrs Pablo Cañeda Sr. He is the fourth od nine children. When he was young, his family migrated to Cotabato City in search for greener pastures. There his father opened an automobile reapair shop. Things were going quite well during the early years but a few years later, his mother died of cancer. Along with his three older brothers, he took care of their younger siblings and helped his father in the shop. They again migrated a few years after to Cagayan de Oro City and there, he became a member of the smallest elected unit of government composed of youth from 15 - 17 years old known as the KB or Kabataang Barangay (now known as the SK or Sangguniang Kabataan). During the outbreak of the marial law, he went to the Visayas - particularly the provinces of Cebu and Bohol - and there became and activist against the dictatorship government of President Ferdinand Marcos. There were rumors among the people who knew him during those times that the government wanted his friends and him dead. He finished a degree in Political Science in Holy Name University or HNU (formerly Divine Word College) in 1994 because of his early and constant life as an activist.

During his times as an activist in Cebu, he met Ana Catillo, a girl enrolled in Cebu Normal College and the daughter of Boholano farm owner Julius Vidal Castillo and Girl Scout of the Philippines Executuive Director Ema Castillo. They married on 1988 and had twins at August 25 that year. Another child came in November 20, 1989. His children were often called the Power Rangers by his friends because they were avid fans of the Power Rangers Series.

Rudy was actively involved in the campaigns of people like Nene Pimentel, Juan Ponce Enrile, ERAP, Koko Pimentel and many others. For many years, his career revolved around the campaings of politicians and consultancy regarding their policies. In 1998, when Joseph "ERAP" Estrada won the presidency, he was appointed as the Executive Director of the National Youth Commission (NYC) an office under the president of the Philippines hat centers on youth development. He took oath for this office in Septemebr 8, 1998. It is here that he has maximized his capabilities in extending to the youth. He has organized many projects for he youth. And it is in this office where he became close to his now dear friend Aquilino Martin "KOKO" Pimentel III who was commissioner then and sentaroiable during the Philippine mid- term elections of 2008. Just before President ERAP was unseated, Rudy was appointed Board of Administrators of the Development Authority (CDA) - an office under the Philippine President that centers in Cooperative Development - because of his extensive knowledge in organization, effective people skills, and resourcefulness. He took oath on june 13, 2000.

On July 31, 2006, Rudy's term as CDA Administrator ended together with his dear friend Socrates "SOC" Del Rosario. Earlier that month, their subordinates from all over the Philippines colaborated and some of them went to Cagayan de Oro to throw them a farewell party and citing indirectly that they were the best Administrators the CDA had. Rudy didn't get any appointments under the Arroyo Administraion after that. He then became an advanced team member under the GO or Geniune Opposition during the 2008 mid - term elections of the Philippines but later, he quit so he can focus on the senatorial campaigns of his friend Koko Pimentel (alhough koko was under the GO banner). Today, Rudy is a marketing, business, and political consultant. He no longer sought other government appointments citing that he missed more than half of his sons lives because of his work so now he wants to make up with whatever time is left with them before they leave the house and start living their own lives and careers.
