Club career

[edit]

On 31 December 2021, Spenkelink signed with RKC Waalwijk until the end of the 2021–22 season.[3] In June 2022, he extended his contract with the club until 2024.[4] Mainly the third-string goalkeeper during his tenure at the club, Spenkelink made his Eredivisie debut on 4 November 2023, due to injuries to Etienne Vaessen and Jeroen Houwen. He played the full game as RKC lost 2–1 to Feyenoord.[5][1]
