Leslie Berland is the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Verizon.[1]

Education

Berland earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University College of Communication.[2]

Career

January 2023 to December 2023, she was CMO at Peloton.[3][4]

2016-2022 she held a dual role of CMO and Head of People[5] at Twitter.[6][7]

2005-2016 she was EVP of global advertising, marketing, and digital partnerships at AmEx.[8][9][10]

She also had executive PR roles at Ketchum[11] and GCI Health.[12] She is on the advisory board of the Ad Council[13] and for LEAP.[14]

Accolades

Forbes ranked Berland #3 in their World's Most Influential CMOs list.[15] Fast Company ranked Berland sixth[16] in their 100 Most Creative People in Business[17] for persuading AmEx leadership to prioritize social media platforms.[18] She was featured in Advertising Age's Creativity 50 list.[19] In 2018, she was appointed to the National Board of Directors at Make a Wish Foundation[20]

Personal life
