Summary

Description
English: George V and his Prime Ministers at the 1926 Imperial Conference. The conference was the seventh Imperial Conference held amongst the Prime Ministers of the dominions of the British Empire. It was held in London from 19 October to 22 November 1926. It was notable as the conference that produced the Balfour Declaration, which established the principle that the dominions are all equal in status, and not subordinate to the United Kingdom.

All are wearing alternative court dress with decorations; Coates is wearing his service medals in miniature (Military Cross and Bar, 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal); Bruce is wearing his service medals in miniature (Military Cross, 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal, Croix de Guerre); Cosgrave is wearing the star and sash of the Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Pope Pius IX; George V is wearing medals in miniature and the star, riband and garter as a Knight of the Order of the Garter; Mackenzie King is wearing the collar badge and miniature medal of the Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George.
