Summary

Description
English: A photograph of the south side of Greyfriars Kirk, Edinburgh. This shows the appearance of the church after the completion of a restoration in 1857 by David Cousin and before another restoration of 1932-1938 by Henry F. Kerr. This shows the steeply pitched roof over Old Greyfriars: this was replaced with a roof closer to that of the western half during the 1930s.
